Makita DUN461 Pole Hedge Trimmer - Attempted Repair and Short Review

Ouch! While trimming a hedge the other week, I snapped my Makita DUN461 Pole Hedge Trimmer, when it got caught on a high overhead branch. I'm going to try epoxying it back together first and seeing if that holds, before I resort to more hardcore repair methods.
While I had the thing at my mercy, I thought I'd also throw in a few of my likes and dislikes about this particular model. Because, while it's a handy piece of kit, it's not without its annoyances.
