    You guys would be better off going to a sports bar in NYC than the Giants game. Way better experience getting to watch 8-9 games at once at 1pm and another 4-5 at 4pm. With fans from all different teams. Just pound beers all day

      Says you. Not one doctor of his has said anything close to that. This is simply football fans witnessing a clear, violent concussion and assuming things/hoping he never plays again so they don't have something on their conscience.
      Denzel Ward has had 5 concussions since he entered the league, nobody's telling him to retire. Because he doesnt play QB, and didn't have the "fencing" response. Which is, by the way, a fairly common reaction and NOT an indication of severe concussion or brain damage.
      Quit playing doctor. If he gets looked at and that's the conclusion they come to, fine. But none of you know that.
      Also, lineman are at much higher risk for CTE later in life. It's the repeated, small impacts that give you CTE. Don't hear anybody campaigning for them to retire.

      Your assessment of public hysteria is quite fair. In a vacuum, I agree with it. You are furthermore correct, RE linemen and interior players. Butting heads violently with explosive 300lb men 1200 times per year is more likely to cause long term damage than are a handful of spectacularly violent incidents.
      But, there is no vacuum. I didn't watch this game, and the highlights don't linger on his injury. Therefore, I cannot speak to it with any more certainly than is the public understanding - that he indeed suffered a concussion of indeterminate grade. That's four diagnosed, three of which came in the span of under a year, if my math and memory are correct.
      I did see the two high profile concussions he suffered in consecutive weeks. Even to the layman's eye, Bro got his brains scrambled pretty hard. Fair or not, quarterbacks get more attention than do right guards. Furthermore, given the money (I believe he just signed a large new contract without a concussion clause), there's a huge incentive to overstay one's welcome.
      Whether right or not, if Tua were my son, I would be begging him to leave the sport. Maybe it is overreaction and hysteria on my part. But football is gladiatorial enough, even without the high profile, obvious, and public brain injury on full display during prime time.

    Buffalo crushes Miami consistently since Allen was drafted, Bills have won 12 of the last 13 games after yesterday and have won I think 14 of the last 16 games on the road in Miami. Miami probably has the best WR duo in the league, but overall their team has very little depth at key positions and are a very "soft" team by NFL standards. Its why they consistently beat up on weak teams but get bullied against better more experienced teams.
    Miami did play terrible but Buffalo forced a lot of that as their Head Coach Sean McDermott is a great defensive coach and knows how to shut Miami's speedy offense. The Bills lost their MLB early in the game and entered the game without their All Pro LB and CB both out with injuries, and still shut Miami down again. truly a great coaching job yesterday.

  • @jermainezinnerman7450
    @jermainezinnerman7450 2 дня назад +4

    Couple of things. The Dolphins were favored to win the game. They just can't beat Buffalo. Buffalo held Ty Hill to 2 catches(maybe). Last week Buffalo held Marvin Harrison Jr to 1 catch. This week MHJ had 143 yards against the Rams.
    By the way it's funny how Allen is always throwing interceptions. But Mahomes has had 53(including this past Sunday) of his interceptions negated by defensive holding. So Allen doesn't just throw interceptions

  • @gregorywilliams1308
    @gregorywilliams1308 5 дней назад +2

    Daz, the reason the Dolphins did not look good, is because of Buffalo's Defense. The game is more than Quarterbacks and Offense. What you call errors are usually the Defense making plays. The game is Offense, Defense and Special Teams. All 3 areas, makes for a good team. Tua will be out for a while, with a concussion.

    Achane always takes good yardage out of us. Sincerely hoping the Bills go all the way this year. Agreed that this game was as much about the Dolphins sucking as it was about the Bills looking good. But the positive I take from it was that the Bills didnt have to go that extra mile. Didnt need to step it up the hero-ball tactics, which they CAN do.

    I feel cautiously optimistic about my Bills now, but I have only two observations about this game. One, I hope that Tua clears concussion protocol in a matter of weeks -- and then they keep him out for at least two more weeks after he clears said protocol if not more. Two, how did I not realize that the Bills "unretired" #32? Just saying that they should have started issuing it long before OJ died.

    Bills own the Dolphins because they own the line of scrimmage. Dolphins GM and HC don’t think investing in the OLine is a top priority. Well, that’s why they lose to defenses that can rush 4 and drop 7.
