Yo, that was cool af when was talking about meeting Ross and how Ross's wife reached out to him and thanked him for writing that song and how his song about what Ross went thru put it in perspective for her, how the song made her feel and understand what Ross went thru that day, and how his song brought them closer together. That shows what a true talent Joyner Lucas is cause only someone with talent and passion for music and rap can convey emotions, feelings, and draw you into story of the song and make you actually feel it. Yo, Joyner Lucas is a true, pure talented ARTIST, not just a rapper. Definitely one of the best, if not THE best rapper in the game right now

Ross had/has PTSD and was paranoid that Joyner had some kind of firsthand knowledge of what happened so Joyner says “come with me and my friends to hang out”... I can’t help but think Ross was like “here we go again, they’re gonna get it right this time”. Props to Joyner for spreading Ross’ story and props to Ross for being strong, can’t imagine what he went through.

His lyrical ability, personality, creative ability, production experience and love for the rap game makes him one of the greatest artists to ever do it period but this dude is the real deal no fake shit he’s authentic and really appreciates all of this and truly is dead silent mad respect brotha you changing the game in a lot of ways.
The freestyle that Joyner did was ridiculous. These corny artist thats on the radio nowadays can't even do half that on their best day.

that Ross Capicchioni video meant a lot to me too man, I remember watching Ross story during what I thought was a tough time and his story inspired me, but then when I saw Joyner's video that shit was done so well it brought it more to life....this guy is talented

I love how he's always bringing the stories in his music from multiple perspectives. It either gets a message across or makes you smile. Either way you feel something that has value to it. The only rapper I've been able to compare with Tupac or put on his level as far as his ability to get people's attention and getting them thinking about important issues .

Listen to the portion where Joyner speaks about the actual Ross Capicchioni's response after seeing the video; it was so surreal and seemed to reenact the actual events to a tee that Ross was under the impression that Joyner was affiliated with the group that plotted the event. Wow.
Ross was so traumatized that even the video was enough to convince him that a rapper/artist, who replicated the scenario with lyricism and an artistic video so identical to the story to a tee says a lot about how talented and creative Lucas is.
The impact must have hit Ross right in the heart and brought back flashbacks to where he must have relived it just by watching the video.
Sad... how can one not be able to differentiate fiction from reality. It was quite a straight forward story... but i can see how the trauma and sinister nature of the plot/scheme and attempt of murder, only to survive it can inflict some type of psychological stress to Mr. Ross.
At least he's alive to tell it.
