Some people are making comparisons to Johnny Cash, but he reminds me of Waylon Jennings, both of which had their very own unique styles. Been listening to Paul for the last hour and I pretty much love all of his work so far.
Funny, ive heard Johnny cash, which ive agreed with BUT i felt its a triple threat of Johnny, waylon Jennings and elvis it really depends on the song but Those 3 stand out most
This song is pretty deep for me. We can all read into music what we need to at times and this for me has helped me through cutting off my toxic family for my own good. It might not be anything like what was intended but fuck me is it good and damn meaningful. Paul Cauthen, love ye man. Can't wait to see you in Scotland some time.
I can not deny Paul's vocal talents they give me an asmr response great camber to add to his voice the musicians he works with blow my mind as equally. It's just great song after great song and when you think the song was already as good as it gets it gets better.
I'm curious as to the creative process for these songs how they get such a full sound with the bass the picking and the slide with piano organ Paul's voice back up singers and drums all same time making such a perfectly mixed sound it is absolutely magic and joy to listen to. I know paul writes songs does he compose this music or is it just experienced secessionists coming together and riffing. I would love an inside look into this creative process
Great song , one of the best I’ve ever heard in my 24 years of living
This cat is outta this world.
This is just great. Pure gold!!!!! I'm so glad I stumbled into the Paul Cauthen Fan Club.
I was never really into this type of music, until I heard this song. This is a jam.

A lot of Waylon in this boy, and it's just great!
That's who I think he sounds like myself, a touch some other greats in there also.
Never stop doing this Mr. Cauthen. Bravo

It is an amazing condemnation of our elders isn't it. Both the ones we know personally and those who fucked up people we will never meet.

This is a fantastic song. It's like the "Feleena" to the "El Paso" that is "Ghost Riders in the Sky."
Best damn song ever
Awesome
