He is my sibak in Hong Kong when I was a kid. I have not seen him for 40 years. He must be close to 80. Good to see him still in form at that age.

When I learned Hung Style in the 1970's, the forms were practiced very fast, as fast as possible with full power and strength. I am just commenting on a reader's comments that this form was too fast. Actually it was done slowly and not fast at all.

In this century you'll see tournament competitors skipping sections, slowing things down, and stopping to pose during forms.

not so fast, we can't see what your doing, this is a form, not a race!

This is a performance, not instructional video.

So in performances you must do things so fast than watchers can't see the movements? I come from a traditional schools, where movements are done right, no as fast as posible. I suppose this is a modern style.

Diego, combat arts are done right AND fast.

I know, I'm just saying that forms should be done with more technic than speed. I can't see how good this guy is! Maybe if his taos where heavier...

Form should be done BOTH with technique and speed - just like on the video.

      馬步冇問題;他走的是洪拳活馬 騏麟步,此君玩得熟練 唯欠用刀殺勢,逃不出花子的虚張聲勢😆
