Wow, so intense and what amazing performances under pressure by both teams! For those who don't know the rules - if the scores of the shootout are tied, then winner is the one with 10s closer to the center. Because China's 1st player was almost dead center, so China's 2nd 10 could be anywhere and still win because Korea's 1st 10 was on the edge and can't win over other 10s.

don't understand the rule. it was a tie at the shoot-off set, why Korean lost?
Because the first shot by the Chinese is almost bullseye. The score is levelled, so whoever hit nearest to the centre has advantage

No because in the first set in the beginning there was a “8*” the * was given because the arrow landed on the line b/w 8 and 9 so when the normal draw kept coming they kept given benefit to Korea and dragged the draw until the shoot off after which they gave the benefit to china and basically the 8 became 9 and that’s how china won
I am new to archery competition. Why did one team win when it was a tie at the end? Very great match though and the Chinese Team really did great winning after going down earlier.
Also they need to ban that Chinese Coach. He is sooo noisy. lol

Should because the microphone is beside Chinese team. But, the coach of Chinese team is also a Korea 😅.
So the rules are; in a shoot-off, if the scores are tied, the team with the shot closest to the center wins. In this case, China's 1st 10 shot was almost dead center. Therefore, they win.

Korean women's team now is kinda shaky. Can they win gold again in Paris? Maybe they carried their selection process too far and too taxing. All burnt out before actual competition. Men's team is not that consistent either.
The archers who not selected also good shooter.... maybe better than other country athletes
Both Korean men/female team is consisted of those who cannot be in Paris as they couldn’t get the tickets to Paris in Korean domestic league. I would say, so called even minor leaguers in Korea are on worlds Final.
China is not comfortable to do anything. Specially competing sport.
