    I've been saying this for years. Decided to learn how to scrape one day, then I realized that I became a lot faster in the trails. And I was also able to jump logs way easier. Knowing how to wheelie brings confidence and bike control in one easy to pick up package.

    I remember when I dreamed of how awesome would it be if I knew how to wheelie.... And ever since I got good at it, wheelie practise became an inmportant part of every training. It really is a skill worth mastering.... Now I am trying to scrape fender😀😀

    New to this channel.... great wheelie advice, there are only two types of people, those who can wheelie and those miserable ones who can’t 😁

    Every time I wheelie , my bike leans to the left and then leans to the right that’s the hardest part is to keep it straight. I can hit 12.00 but my bike leans side to side causes me to fall. I’m trying to get it together

    I appreciate the video man. The two questions I have are: 1. Do you pull up on the handlebars when the forks are rebounding or are you just using throttle and clutch after the front brake release during the rebound? 2. Are you giving the bike throttle while holding the front brake just before you release it or are you releasing the front brake and then you use the throttle? Thanks.

    Great explanation and perfect speech speed. Thank you and I will keep practicing. In fact my practice lead me to a tennis elbow (tendinitis). Have you ever noticed any elbow troubles and if so any tips to avoid it?

    • @IRCTireUSAMoto
      @IRCTireUSAMoto  5 лет назад +4

      I have heard of that caused by riding. Try the Forearm Strong arm pump tool. Its not only for arm pump, It seemed to help some guys with tendinitis. The hardest thing about that style of injury is a lot of time its more about giving it time to heal more than anything.

    Great video. Do you run rekluse on the wheelies videos? I have rekluse in mine and I find it more difficult to do a slow wheelie? Thanks

    • @IRCTireUSAMoto
      @IRCTireUSAMoto  4 года назад +1

      I never run a rekluse auto clutch. None of the top extreme enduro riders do.

    • @fouledout443
      @fouledout443 3 года назад

      I've been able to slow wheelie with ease on fourwheelers over the years, so the clutch/brake/throttle hasn't been much of an issue for me when attempting on dirtbikes, but the new bike I bought came with a rekluse already installed and its given me a lot of trouble learning slow wheelies. I'll use very little throttle and get the bike straight up in the air, but since the rpm is so low, the rekluse slips so I have to give it gas to save the wheelie and I end up going faster than I want or at the very least jerking the bike more than I want. I'm thinking about changing the springs and rekluse weights to make the engagement rpm even lower and maybe that will help.

    Ok, been working on this but have a question. Are you feathering clutch once wheelie up to stay in friction zone..... and giving/letting off gas and also feathering rear brake? Or do you get off clutch completely once up? Maybe it'll stall up there at slow speed... Seems like so many things at once while my brain is telling me, your going to loose it.

    • @darken3150
      @darken3150 3 года назад +3

      Feathering break yes, clutch i dont think its needed

  • @XJonAye
    @XJonAye 4 месяца назад

    This may be a dumb question, but everytime i get the bike up in the air i panic and fall off, and the bike keepsrollonh forward in a wheelie until it loses mo.entum and falls over.
    Do you just hand onto the handle bars to keep from falling off

  • @jackloganbill605
    @jackloganbill605 2 года назад

    Your boots seem not as tall as the boots I wear and a lot more flexible... what boots are you wearing and what boots do you suggest especially for highly technical riding and almost trials riding?

  • @jakehoskins9669
    @jakehoskins9669 3 года назад

    I can't get the front tire up in the first place. I just can't get the traction I need to, my bike either stalls from to little throttle, or the wheel spins from too much.

    The hardest part is actually loading the engine enough to get you to the balance point without feeling like it’s gonna throw you over.

    Iv come a long way in a short time when it comes to learning but can’t get it up fast enough is there a way for me to practice popping the clutch or just any tips in general. I just don’t get how it comes up with so little throttle like that

      It's just practice and repetition and pushing limits. Really concentrate on how fast you are popping the clutch lever.
