I've read several books and followed so many people on RUclips over the past year and you have been the most relatable I've found. I love your perspective and analytical brain. I love your content so much. Thank you.
I LOVE your views on second hand. I frequent thrift shops and a lot of my ritual tools and items are from there or hand made. I have a few things that I have purchased, but I love things, like you said, that have a past. I am very sensitive and I love the feel of old energies. Beautiful altar, btw :)
I have found I actually prefer buying second hand stuff, especially broken statues off Amazon because repairing it can make it a little more personal to you (and it's cheaper overall if you already have clay or resin and paints on-hand). You can always cleanse or "banish" its energy before setting it up as well if it seems too negative. I have a goddess pendant that was originally from a second-hand keychain that had a "sad energy" but it seemed to improve in energy when I made it into a necklace and gave it some love wearing it around. I get the sense that whoever it belonged to first either lost it or (more likely) had to give it up. I was always very fond of that necklace, especially since it was my mother (a mother I have a very complex and rocky relationship with) who gave it to me. I like your wire frame, it reminds me of something I read in Elen Sentier's book Dreamweaver where the practitioner makes a "dreamweb" out of string (I think also a frame of sticks but I don't have my copy with me rn) that is meant to be a gradual collection of things important to the person. When I get my own place I'll make one.
That is very beautiful and very personal altar! Very wise words. I am actually Buddhist but I have a lot of respect for the Pagan path and I love Pagan altars. I am in the midst of trying to create my own altar for my practice and I have to keep in mind not to "get everything at once" and to try to keep it simple. Thank you so much for sharing this with us. It is very much appreciated.
We have very similar ideas about collecting tools. I try to make everything I can, and if I don't know how, I enjoy learning. I've been really drawn to the idea of an athame. I've done without for a long time, but I'm in the position where I can build a put forge in my back yard and actually forge it myself. I can't wait! I do have a handful of thrift store finds. They get cleansed, and serve me well. Thanks for sharing your altar! I think the painted candles are a great idea!
I agree with you 100% most of my items I bought them from secondhand stores like thrift stores... I love your altar is very beautiful blessing to you sister... Also I'm a Wiccan too...😎👍✌️
this is awsome, i love your idea on your items having past lives. representation of out with the old in with the new is strong in that sense. moving on :)
I am watching this is 2021, and I tell you,,, You do not age you look now like you did then..youre beautiful and love your hair and oh yeah you have 100 times more books than that now,and you are married,.
I started making simple altars with a couple boxes and flowers I'd pick on the way home in 3rd grade at 8 years old and not know why. I'm 55 now. My parents weren't too keen on the idea so now I live alone too and have plenty of space for expression. Thank you for the vid! Peace.
hey... im practiceing wicca at a young age. 12. my friend is wiccan and she has a magick group at school. i recentlly joined it, and asked to borrow some of her books on wicca, witchcraft, and magick. im now totally loving this religion. But i dont feel like i have the right space or tools. if you can give me some advice that would be great...
@Solitarywitch77 Haha! No offense taken at all. I'm glad you like it. I just feel awkward pointing the camera at something and talking behind it, but I'll be sure to have less of me and more of other things.
i think its amazing that many of us, you, me and the others have similar items. That is so wicked. i have some similar wooden boxes. i like to collect those that are hand carved. I remember my dad made me a box when i was a kid and every since then I was a huge wooden box fan. i have noticed the prices have really gone up on thrift boxes or just collectibles of handcarved wooden boxes but sometimes i can find kool ones at crazy places. anyway just saying HEY! i loved your altar
I like your alter a lot it's very personal. I like your goddess and god candles! Such a neat idea! Hope you don't mind me trying it. :) kudos to you I buy second hand stuff. It doesn't bother me I mean You can cleanse it so whatevs.
My altar has stuff from my world travels. Like my chalice comes from Sorrento Italy all of my things have deep meaning and memory tied to it. I have a piece of clay roof tile from Pompeii and sea glass from Amalfi and Greece. I wand i made from a stick I found in the town next to Yellowstone as you can’t take things from yellowstone.
gorgeous..i love the painting the black woman with the BIG hair. i love her hair on that painting. also the treeman the white thing on wall that is great my friend has a Treeman face. i've purchased 2nd hand crystals at Jewish counsil Thrift as well as a couple weeks ago i got some GORGEOUS real stone necklaces and I can feel that whomever had that has died and their family donated them b/c they think they are outdated and Junk
what kills me about people, is i tell them i have ouija boards, and they always say "oh dont go messing with those, they are bad"! first of all they are not bad, i been using in my whole life and nothing bad came out of it. sorry i had to put that out there!
New to your channel. Great video by the way! I was wondering if you can make a video about the books in the background? If you already have made one can you give me a link. Thank you!
hey I am a behavioural analyst...I would like to ask you some points- 1-Do you like to live alone 2-Do you hate drug addictions- 3-R u really sensitive towards harsh behaviour and ruthlessness 4-Did u failed at something 5-Are u right brained or we can say that is do you question every ritual 6-Why are u really true to your heart in this century?

Wash stands make the best altars! So cool to see someone else, especially someone as cool as you using one too!
My altar is the same size but it all I need and am so proud to call it mine. 🦋😁🔮🍄

@lillybell1991777 Thanks for commenting! Of course I don't mind! It's not something I invented, anyway, but it's something I've really enjoyed doing.
It's cool seeing a baby Thorn Mooney.
I love your view on the second hand idea. I have the same view. I love that things have had a previous life.
It’s been several years since I made this video, but I’m still using all the same tools! 💙

Very nice altar. Very personal and colorful. I also agree with your idea of buying second hand.

Reallly cool video. your Altar is lovely. Def gonna sub
I love second hand thinga for that same feeling of it having a history
I found a tarot deck on a kitchen table in an abandon farm house in laguadoc,France. It was second hand. Never had a problem with it.
@CauldronCottage Yeah, it's great to have a whole room, but I think it would feel too isolated to me. I like having everything sort of spread out.
I absolutely agree with the second hand stuff. Most of my altar is from antique shops .)
Beautiful power place which really has some energy that inspires :)
Blessed Be )O(

I loooooooove second hand too and I agree with everything you said 💙💫
the most beautifull altar I have seen ;)
Totally recognized at 3:58, Agrippa's "Three Books of Occult Philosophy", I have the same exact Llewellyn edition on my bookshelf as well. :)
What material should the Pentacle be made of ? Wood or metal ?
love your green man candle!
New to your channel. Great video by the way! I was wondering if you can make a video about the books in the background? If you already have made one can you give me a link. Thank you!
Sure! In fact, there's even a books playlist on my channel page. Here's the "tour" video though: ruclips.net/video/UqC-VMNQeFI/видео.html
