Same here. To us fans, swap deals seem obvious but we rarely see it happen.

In terms of PSR, West hame are significantly better than Arsenal so they’re unlikely to negotiate a fee due to that position + Lopetegui won’t sell Kudus whether it’s a swap deal or not. Don’t expect nobody in England to spend £20M on Reiss cause he hasn’t played consistently since his loan at Feyenoord+he has a poor injury record. If a player doesn’t play their value diminishes. Same application for ESR. If arsenal were playing them consistently to a relative degree like Nketiah then far enough.

Reiss and ESR are still quality players, especially ESR he’s proven himself in the Prem, anyone thinking they can pick up Reiss for 10m is bonkers, that’s very insulting he’s a 23 year old first team player at the second best team in the country
@@joshhenry2389 I don’t know if you read anything in my previous comment but I’ll contextualize it to make it understandable. If arsenal were to sign Raya (£27M) & Sesko(£55M) arsenal would’ve been £179.6M deep being £74.6M over the PSR meaning we would’ve had to sell all our homegrown players and a potential first team players due to it being the easiest form of profit. Check football observatory for market value as it’s based in actual scientific research. The reason why ESR and Reiss will be sold for anything less than £18M is due to them being on the bench for 2 years straight with injuries during that time period. Their value was always going to diminish if they weren’t playing it was inevitable it doesn’t matter whether your the second best team in the league

I agree but Zubimendi isn’t any better. This is who arsenal should sign in terms of player quality:
Mats Wieffer, Federico Redondo, Angelo Stiller(depending on UCL performances next season), Nicolo Rovella(depending on UCL performances next season), Manuel Ugarte, Florentino Luis, Martin Zubimendi(is better at getting out of challenges+ least likely getting dribbled past than the three above but is a lot worse at passing and defending), Youssouf Fofana
