DaBaby is a GREAT performer. Energy level is high is so infectious.
The thing about the baby is, he's genuine and I think although he isn't super lyrical in the sense that he's not gonna give you all the entendres and crazy metaphors, his authenticity is a breath of fresh air, also he's a story teller and I think when the stories are real they're more relatable.
I'm a fan of older school rap, Pac, Big, DMX, Scarface etc. But I fuccs with DaBaby. He been coming with that high energy. I don't get with most of the new rappers cuz they all sound the same. But Da Baby do his own thing.

Your ears are lucky, you don't have to hear sexy red actually on this lol. I love Da Baby I love his flow I love the fact that he articulates all of his words. I wish she had better media training in the beginning and he would not have made the big missteps that he has made along the wave is semi got him canceled. He does have some misogynistic tendencies though.
I wouldn't say sexy is a good rapper but there's a lane for her. She does have good beat choices and catchy hooks. If I was younger I may be a fan but she's a bit vulgar for me 😂

written freestyles are still freestyles because they’re lyrics/bars/a song with no structure. if people were going around saying written stuff was 100% improvised and off the dome, then i could understand your grievance. but music theory literally teaches this so with all the love and respect in the world, not too much on my generation 😂
