I'll be as polite as possible....submarines are broken and "RoydeanNA" is making the game worse by playing them. The destroyer was less than 3km away and STILL couldn't spot the sub, and he was "shotgunned" without any way to counterplay.

I really don't like the standard torpedo's on the subs they only have 6.3km range and are more than 20 knots slower.
@@RoydeanEU That's why it's not balanced at all. It should be the other way. Fast unguided torps on 1 and slower but sonar guided homing torps. That would already make subs a bit less op

I don't understand why the torpedos have to be homing, it's just not a fun feature, the subs can aim like everyone else, why is this homing torps a thing at all. Have you tried your game vs this, it's not fun.
Just make the sonar a spotting feature instead.
It's rediculous that this is being pushed as it is now.
This is probably the biggest problem with submarines. In the period covered by the game they are by definition ambush units and there's no real reason for them to have home in torpedoes except to make them deadly enough that when players will want to buy them.
@@M167A1 Germans used acoustic torpedo which followed sound and would track, probably a better solution than what we have
yeah, I feel like sub torpedoes could even do more damage but there is no need to make a homing sonar ping feature
I'd say to add a mode where you can play a round without subs, but what surface ship in his right mind would want to play it? The devs certainly aren't going to showcase a game mode that would rub their noses in what bad idea subs are.
Still, watching 4v4 or 5v5 supersubs giving each other a taste of the crap we were being forced to swallow? I'd click on that video. Full disclosure: former player that used to like brawling. I deleted the game and a premium account over the subs
Few days back I had a minibattle 4dd + 3 subs on each side. Was hilarious.
Here u can see that WG learned absolute NOTHING... Subs are still OP. Make a gamemode where u can choose if u want to play against Submarines / CV or not, only install a switch where the player can make his decision and u will see the result. WG is ruining its own game with open eyes and dont see it! i just deinstalled .......

A submarine in that era cant even carry 44 torpedoes and let alone homing torpedoes, need some balancing

Do you think it makes sense that a destroyer can be less than 3km away and still unable to spot a sub or deal with the shotgun torpedo?

dans les missions sur la droite de ton écran menu dans le port, cliques dessus, tu verras les prérequis, tu dois faire quelques parties en normal à partir du tier 5 jusqu'au tier 10, et ils te filent des sous marins t6 / 8 / 10 pour 13 jours

soooo this is a "best replay" where you do nothing to contribute to the team and you lose the battle because you were intent on torping the wrong ships, and making poor decision regarding map position? your play was a huge contributor to the team losing.
BRING ON THE SUBS 😚 can you also please bring them to LEGENDS 👍 I cannot wait to play these P.S don't listen to the haters they are a small but vocal minority and the game would likely be better without them.

@@galaxyelectric6095 Why ? the mechanic is literally no different to destroyers ! I play DD's almost exclusively and we have the run of the place, subs would actually take away some of the strain off DD's with all the jobs you have to do (assuming they are good dd players and do their job ) not to mention they can also deal with island camping fire spamming cruisers way more effectively so they will add way more dynamics and tactics to the game while scratching the sub warfare itch many of us have.
The haters have a good point, submarines change the nature of the game while not really adding anything to it. Particularly the homing torpedoes.
I understand we're gaming has a product to sell so they need to keep adding things to the game but this is a total misfire.
@@danny1229c subs are detected as easily and it can easily makes the team from rushing and hell why play dds when u can play subs
@@M167A1 But thats just the thing they don't change the nature of the game at all ! If anything they bring more diversity in terms of tactics, encourage better team play and cooperation ( through negative reinforcement but still ) and also take away some of the jobs the destroyer would have to try and cover while doing all the other things and if played well they can counter a lot if the more toxic meta's that have taken hold.
Ban subs. Ruining the game.
An exceptional player who's only fault is he's using a submarine. I'm very sorry but subs along with aircraft carriers are something of a cancer and detract greatly from the game.
I understand there's a need to continue to develop and sell new vessels etc but this doesn't really do much for the game in my opinion.
If nothing else could we please introduce a game mode or filter that excludes things like submarines and/or carriers?
