Fun fact about the Magikoopa attack: when you use it, you'll notice that Bowser actually fires at their wands with some magic he conjures up from his hand. It's a rare reminder that Bowser has a little bit of magic of his own. However, in the remake, he just breathes fire balls towards them.
Everyone who didn't watch the TRG Star Fox 64 playthrough is gonna be confused why Slippy is mentioned as a waifu, lol. Or maybe not. I guess it's not any stranger than referring to a French block guy as a waifu.
I believe Chugga's skill with the move in this video gives a good idea of how he'll do that challenge. Better than Bomb-Omb Blitz, but it will still take some time.
12:54 That's Peach's bedroom from Partners in Time! Also, "The Castle Depths", the song for the interior of Peach's Castle after Fawful takes over, has a motif from the "Fawful and Cackeltta" battle theme!
I compared it to the map from Partners in Time and it's actually almost the exact same, besides BIS adding some extra furniture. The carpet on the floor is nearly identical!
18:30 Fun fact about this specific roulette: if you pick the drumstick, the game has a mistranslation saying you got Nuclear Drumsticks even thought they're TNT Drumsticks

One thing I have to give credit on 3DS’s side is that it looked like Fawful did a Full Wardrobe Change on the entirety of Peach’s Castle, with a better color pallete for the Dark Star rather than Peach’s Pink and Yellow
Honestly I like the original design of the Fawfulized Castle more, it gives it much more creepier corrupted feeling to me than just what looks like an entirely different castle in the remake, but that's my opinion
IN DA REMAKE... They changed the Fawful statues inside of Peach's castle to Fawfulized Peach statues, and I have no clue why they did that. I thought the Fawful statues looked way cooler and more menacing.
@@nightmarearcade2663 Yeah, I know they did. It's just that they were in the gardens of Peach's Castle, which was creepy and funny. But inside the castle there's regular Fawful statues, which they changed to the Peach statues in the remake despite making it darker and more Fawful-themed.

25:29 Do you mean "Bluey"? Cuz if so, it's really good! And VERY Australian. Occasionally deals with some surprisingly mature subjects for a preschool show (death, infertility, etc.). Very wholesome, highly recommend.
honestly it feels like he could be talking about blue's clues as well, not as good, but more like lazytown than bluey this one off comment is really bugging me
I'm pretty sure he is referring to Bluey, but Blue's Clues is also a close guess. The reboot has recent episodes discussing mature topics like racism and autism (I'm not joking, look it up, the episodes in question are titled "If You Don't See It, Be It" and "Welcome To Camp Clue"). The only reason I'm not as certain it's Blue's Clues he's referring to is because Blue's Clues as a franchise is far from recent, I have faith Emile would at least know of it.
One thing I really don't like about the remake is that they got rid of Bowser casting magic to buff the Magikoopa spells and just made it basic fire breath. This was one of the few games that remembered Bowser is a magician in his own right and they cut it....
You don't see the Project K railroad anywhere on the main world art, despite traveling it and also being on it when fighting the Fawful Express. Rather odd.
Say what you will about everything else about their games, Nintendo sure knows how to pick 'em when it comes to soundtrack composers (heck, it was one of the few positives mentioned in _Chugga Sticks It To Sticker Star..._ honestly, I can't think of a single Nintendo game with a "bad soundtrack")
One fun fact about the Deep Castle OST is you can vaguely hear Cakletta's theme under it once it changes tone. It's more obvious in the remake version since they use harpsichord but I thought it was an interesting detail
The music with Deep Castle. First time playing this game made me FALL IN LOVE WITH THE MUSIC! I'm glad this area is long because I absolutely love how we started in Peach Castle witj her theme in the beginning and comong back later in the game only to listen to a complete tonal shift. Love it
25:25 I had just turned Bluey on for my son and got absolutely whiplash haha. It’s a genuinely good show for kids and adults alike, I probably wouldn’t watch it if I didn’t have kids but it’s so nice to put something on that doesn’t feel like baby brain rot
IN THE REMAKE: Bowser doesn’t toss any flame orbs during Magikoopa Mob, he uses his flame breath. ON THE OTHER HAND, the remake nerfed the attack so it’s not a multi-hit attack like in the OG version
The remake made it worse in two ways: Downplaying Bowser's being the SORCERER King of the Koopas and a potent mage in his own right to just use more of his innate brute force body weapons AND made made the attack weaker so it's of less value to the player.
10:35 I only Just now realised after 11 years that the English Localizers may have been cooking a ROFLcopter joke since Least Partners In Time at the earliest. I couldn't find any sources of ROFL being coined before 2003 which is when Fawful was born but It Does retroactively fit in with his charachter, with him coming from a land where many things (and his boss) were named after a kind of laughing.
The magikoopas have always been some of my favorite if bowser’s minions and seeing them as one of bowser’s coolest ones here is nice to see. Just casually summons a firing squad of wizards to turns his enemies into barbecue
It’s really cool that we can see the train tunnel made by the Broski Moles. It makes sense how the Elite Trio dragged Bowser’s ass all the way from his place to Peach’s junkyard. There’s no real practical use for it, but it’s neat that it can be used At last, we’re reached the pinnacle of the area soundtracks! Deep Castle is a masterclass of a track that pairs perfectly with Final Castle (the outside track) You can’t talk to the Magikoopas with the bros, they’re out of reach. I believe there’s dialogue for them, but the only minions you can reach with them are Shy Guys, Koopas, and Bob-ombs The Dark Fawful Guys (as well as an upcoming boss) have a chance of dropping the Lucky Charm, which is a Stache doubler. Damn good equipment if you can get it
*Peach's Castle* Bowser: Ok, I got one of the keys for this door. Let's see what's behind it. *opens the blue door* Huh!? Magikoopa (Marni): Guys, look! It's Bowser! We're saved! Bonnie: Marni, it's you! Marni: Bonnie, so good to see you're alright. Kathie: So, this is where you were taken. Marni: Yeah, now get us out of this cage. Bowser: On it. *smashes the cage open* Marni: We're free! Goomther: That's another squad rescued, and I believe that's also the last one. Shawn: I really hope we aren't missing anyone. Marni: Wow, this was not how I expected my new position to go. I've only been a squad leader for a few weeks, and I get myself and the others captured. Kathie: Don't blame yourself for that, Marni. We were all caught off guard by Fawful's invasion. Bonnie: And now that you're free, you can finally stick it to that laughing jerk, sister. Marni: Yeah, you're right. *summons her broomstick and hops on* Listen up, Magikoopa Mob. We must do our absolute best in service of King Bowser. Let's give these enemies the pounding of a lifetime. Goomther: Let's find the rest of those keys and get to Fawful. Shawn: SHOO-RAH! Marni: Let's fly! *Bowser and his minions continue searching the rest of the castle for the keys* Marni: Say, girls. Kathie: Yeah, what's the matter? Marni: Well, while I was waiting for Bowser to come and save us, I decided to do some meditation. When did so, I believe I received a vision from the future. Kathie: Really, what did you see? Was it Bowser beating the daylights out of Fawful? Bonnie: Was it Bowser crushing Fawful like a Scutlet? Marni: No, none of that. I think I saw a purple house just past Toad Town, and a block lady in need of a massage. Bonnie and Kathie: ... Oh no. Marni: What, why do you look so frightened? Goomther: Trust me, you won't like it. Shawn: I will. *ducks under a fireball casted by Marni* Marni: How bad could it really be? Goomther, Kathie, and Bonnie: Very. Marni: Oh boy.

Gooby: Oh, yeah some bob-ombs were made in the bob-omb factory here. Others are made by other bob-ombs. Why are some able to respawn? Bast: Usually, it's strength or a flaw in the creation process. But he was the guy who got me through the pain.I hope to find a way that even us bob-ombs who can't respawn could get a way to do so... Kapsci: I gotta head out... Gooby: Kap? Kapsci: Captain Boo? Why were you listening to everything and staying quiet... sir? Captain: Damn, ya got me. Just looking out for Bast. Gooby: You kidding me. She's open with us. She's one of us. Bast: Really. Gooby: If I wasn't an apprentice of THE Captain, would you ask for clarification? Bast: Thanks man. End of flashback... Sally: Damn. Now you have a private gang. Trust me when I say Lord Bowser wants me to take that position.
Peach's Castle is the point where all the enemies in overworld will grant tons of XP for both the Bros. and Bowser, especially for the latter. 12:24 I appreciate this statement a lot. As a person who currently edits for Pikipedia (The Pikmin Wiki) I genuinely like when wikis have accurate in-game information and all the details that people would not notice the first time. I like finding some things in-game, such as enemy stats or locations, and when I find some new relevant discoveries, I would like to share them and have it documented.
Fun fact about the Dark Trashure: If you fight them as Mario and Luigi, for some reason when they launch the cannonballs it comes out INSANELY fast. Like, too fast to even counter. Of course, you won't have a chance to fight them normally / without cheats.
So... chugga, dark mechawful heads will stick around ONLY if there is MORE THAN ONE dark mechawful in battle. If there's only one, the head will just fly away. Furthermore, if all dark mechawfuls lose their heads, they all just fly away. You can only get all but one.
It’s cool that we get to see bowser actually use magic with the magikoopas. Only other time we’ve seen that in a semi recent game would be Mario Galaxy
14:47 Actually, the only minions that don't talk to Mario and Luigi are the Goombas, the Magikoopas and the Koopa Troopas BEFORE breaking the stone wall. I tested these scenarios out with a walk-through-walls cheat on this game.
I’m not vision impaired but I do struggle for a different reason, I have a fine motor delay which really effects playing video games and it’s a key reason why I almost never play fighting games, so I appreciate the acknowledgment that there could be a real reason someone struggles in video games beyond just sucking, although my issues are nothing compared to being vision impaired and trying to play Mario and Luigi or all games
14:45 Actually, hackers have found that Magikoopa Mob (and Goomba Storm for that matter) have no hidden dialogue. Makes sense considering the bros can't reach either of them without hacking.
15/15 Blitties Collected!!! The Magikoopa attack is a good attack, but now that all the Blitties have been collected it's time to get Bowser's final special attack.
Funnily enough, I distincly remember first fighting the next giant battle on Halloween as well. Though that was probably in 2009 when the game released.
Makes sense they'd start off with "What should be the toughest, hardest, most DEF-boosting shell we can have Bowser wear?" and work their way down from there. Likewise in the internal data of Pokemon's first generation of games, Master Ball is first, then Ultra/Hyper Ball, then Great Ball, then Pokeball. Make the one that just outright catches first for testing purposes, then one with a chance to fail, then a slightly worse one (accidentally made slightly _better_ by accidents of coding LOL), then the absolute worst one they could justify to themselves as cheap early game fodder.
Just adding a few specifics to the Naplocks' behavior. They will always spawn either 6 or 7 blocks while awake, Bowser can only break a maximum of 5 blocks before they're sent flying, and he can only stay crouched to dodge 6 blocks at most with near-perfect timing. Furthermore, those blocks can inflict Dizzy, leaving Bowser completely exposed to another stack of 6-7 blocks.
Fun fact about the Body Slam Panel at 18:30; I don't know if this is true for any others, but I know it is for this one - if you choose the Drumsticks, you'll be given five "Nuclear" Drumsticks. Apparently TNT Drumsticks were originally called Nuclear Drumsticks and after changing the name they forgot to fix this panel. Fear not, you do still get the TNT drumsticks.
So, fun fact: The Alarm Bob-ombs that run back and forth and you have to punch them to stop their attack as Bowser? You can do that as soon as they go over to him if you bunch a bit early, which will immediately knock them away
12:32 the amount of blocks might have increased because bowser can now punch faster. Also the amount of blocks are a little random ranging between 6 and 8
7:30 ah deep castle, has a motif of cackletta, but what i love about it more is that its more fawfulized in the remake, or dark star estetic, magentas and purple and it Feels like fawful is fully in control of peaches castle 13:30 this is often used as a speedrunners tactic 15:08 whats nice is you can make long swipes if you dont lift up, this was used to cheese on the Challenge mode 16:47 I forgot in the remake bowser breaths fire but here he uses his finger to summon fire, hard to tell which one i like 19:06 Dark MechAwfuls, they are more dangerous of the common green ones, they Also summon a stronger, body that will tank your attacks and make their own attacks harder, you also need two or more to have them stay for enemies
Another day to mention that the Gall Socks, able to be bought inside Bowser, complements well with the Daredevil Boots. Equip the socks to Luigi and boots to Mario, and it basically makes Mario more able to survive since enemies and even bosses are much more prone to targeting Luigi. Slapping more defensive gear on Luigi also helps him stay alive really nicely! I know Emile mentioned in a past episode that it takes a bit for him to respond cause he records alot of stuff in advance. Still, i hope he looks into this! In other news, Hi Emile! Love what you do! Been watching since Wind Waker! ❤
7:24 Man, if a track like that doesn't scream classic "near-end RPG final dungeon" I don't know what would... man, now I want to listen to RPG soundtracks
That Minion Band SP would've actually been so good - with it restoring 4 SP each turn, and with the Cheap Ring only discounting Magikoopa Mob from 15 to 11 (the largest discount out of the currently available attacks), it effectively does the same thing but better as it doesn't lock "less overall SP spending per turn" to only one random attack. Would free up the Ring slot too, although it would take away the Power Band.
Worth Mentioning: if you choose the drumsticks with the roulette in the freezer, it'll say you got 5 Nuclear Drumsticks unfortunately, turns out its just TNT drumsticks (i'd imagine Nuclear Drumsticks would heal 400 hp or something high like that)
*City escape music playing* 🎶 Rolling around crushing my enemies away Got places to go, gotta teleport *with your minnnd....* Can't stick around, have to keep smashing on Guess what lies ahead, only one way to find out! *SHOWTIME!!!*
Watching this LP has made me think of so many scenarios that could be written out, especially after the last episode. Fawful: I have fury! The Bowser has wormed his way into Fawful's castle of Peach and has freed his pesky koopas of magic. Bowser: *Grabbing a fawfulcopter that was watching him.* "You have fury!? I spent 7 hours giving a weird french block woman a massage with my bob-ombs! And now I'm going to have to go back to her with my Magikoopas! Who knows how long I'll be there! Fawful: Fawful doesn't understand. I do not have chortles. Why is this block woman so important? Bowser: SHE GIVES ME FREE ITEMS! Starlow: *to the Bros* "...Looks like you guys aren't the only ones who suffered annoying challenges."
Emile missed an easter egg/glitch. at 18:25 in the freezer, if you land on the drumstick item, it gives an incorrect name for the item. It gives you TNT drumsticks, but the textbox states they are "Nitro" drumsticks, which dont exist.
01:55 You're correct. The best shell is definitely the King Shell though, giving only 40 less DEF, but also increasing POW and SP by 20 each, as well as raising the power of punches by 30%. 14:02 Wicked Shell is definitely also a good option here, serving as an upgrade of the Rampage Shell. It's also called the 'Demon Shell' in the German translation. 05:28 That's definitely a strange harem you got there. 08:01 _Nah, other way around; Kingdom Hearts got the Super Mario RPG composer._ ;P 14:41 Yeah, Magikoopa Mob is the only minion cage that the bros don't have access to (well, other than Goomba Storm, but you're forced to get those before the bros can leave Bowser's body anyway). 14:50 If there is, then it goes unused. Or rather, it's impossible to see. 22:52 What I find funny about that is that the entire next game is then based on sleep. 25:00 It will always fly away if it's by itself. 26:36 Precisely.
There’s something really interesting about Magikoopa mob and that is bowser actually prepares his own magic to add onto theirs, A detail lost in the remake because for whatever reason they just decided to replace that detail with just bowser breathing flame on them for WHATEVER REASON
To clarify, I believe the green Fawfulcopter needs to be caught from behind. It'll flee if it's looking your way when you approach. Magikoopa Mob! Another attack that I remember... being bad at. Man, looking back, I really used Goombas and Shy Guys almost exclusively with Bowser, didn't I...
Honestly, the Magikoopa attack is WAY easier if you just scribble the stylus roughly in the correct direction rather than being precise with one line! It's always how I use the attack personally. Great for challenge mode in the long run. Edit: 25:30 do you mean Bluey...? It's a great show even for adults! Go give it a watch. It's right up your alley.
Now that we've made it to the Magikoopa minion attack, I must share some credit to the remake for doing something that I was slightly bothered about int eh original. I was kinda confused where Kamek had gone after the prologue for Bowser considering it seemed to me as if he was being pushed as Bowser's companion in the game, only for him disappear for almost the rest of the game. The remake takes advantage of his absence by giving him a major role in side mode, aiding Bowser Jr as sabotages himself and the player to actually try to care about others. I still see that journey as a timeline mess, but at least it tried to connect some dots, just not the same level as Minion Quest.
Very surprised that he didn't talk about how, when using Magikoopa Mob, in the original, Bowser conjures fire from his hand while IN THE REMAKE he just breathes fire.
See that is why I use the cheap ring. When it eventually does not matter which attack you use, might at well always be random. Combined with the sp recovery stuff means you can rarely need to refill sp. :O
A small correction, Mario and Luigi don't have dialogue for the Magikoopas, but they do for the Shy Guys and Koopas in addition to the Bob-Ombs. Would probably be a good thing to put in the bonus video.
7:22 This is why I will never understand people who say BIS ost is only good bc it has The Grand finale when Peach castle theme is so fitting like The castle has fallen and the only person that can save it is you. It just fits so well
One small thing about the train tunnel system is that it also has a unique map screen that shows the 3 destinations in a sort of cycle graphic. Also, I believe the number of blocks a Naplock can have varies. I believe it was from 7-9 in the remake. Also also, I believe the Dark Fawful Guys carry what is called a "Dark Star Bomb", and will drop it on you dealing massive damage unless you inhale them or end the fight quickly.
I love you chuggaa. Never stop being you. You are an amazing person who is so extremely entertaining and enthusiastic. It’s been a highlight of my year playing along with you on this one. Sorry If I comment some weird shit sometimes. Much love.

I got so confused when you made a pun with "blue key" to make "Bluey" until you said "Blue Key" outloud for some reason. Yeah the show is enjoyable by many people. Also lol the waifu thing though I can't really argue since I like Slenderman, a himbo bear animatronic from a stupid pizza mall game & a wizard that the game only introduces you to after you need help finding a witch who you learn turned herself into a frog.
youre probably thinking of Bluey, australian cartoon about a family of dogs. it _had_ become a bit of a worldwide sensation and... oddly enough it seems pretty wholesome.

25:29 Do you mean "Bluey"? Cuz if so, it's really good! And VERY Australian. Occasionally deals with some surprisingly mature subjects for a preschool show (death, infertility, etc.). Very wholesome, highly recommend.
That’s what I thought he was talking about too
honestly it feels like he could be talking about blue's clues as well, not as good, but more like lazytown than bluey
this one off comment is really bugging me
@@patrickg1331Don’t you DARE diss Blue’s Clues
@@patrickg1331 blue's clues is a national treasure! 😡
Finally, we get the SHADOW WIZARD MONEY GANG attack!
Also, Deep Castle is probably one of the best final dungeon tracks in videogames.
You don't see the Project K railroad anywhere on the main world art, despite traveling it and also being on it when fighting the Fawful Express. Rather odd.
7:23 And that's why Yoko Shimomura is the GOAT
It's so strange that people say that the music doesn't fit in Mario and Luigi. I say to them, what would they have in its place?
This is my second favorite song in the game aside from well if you know you know
Say what you will about everything else about their games, Nintendo sure knows how to pick 'em when it comes to soundtrack composers (heck, it was one of the few positives mentioned in _Chugga Sticks It To Sticker Star..._ honestly, I can't think of a single Nintendo game with a "bad soundtrack")
"The Grand Finale" in it's throne.
Wow, I actually had no idea she did the soundtrack for this game! This is desperately making me wanna go play every single game she composed lol
Love it
Part of this theme is actually a remix of cackletta’s theme
25:25 I had just turned Bluey on for my son and got absolutely whiplash haha. It’s a genuinely good show for kids and adults alike, I probably wouldn’t watch it if I didn’t have kids but it’s so nice to put something on that doesn’t feel like baby brain rot
Me and my friends don’t have kids and we absolutely love the show. It’s the perfect show for both kids and adults for me.
IN THE REMAKE:
Bowser doesn’t toss any flame orbs during Magikoopa Mob, he uses his flame breath.
Bowser actually demonstrating his SORCERY is a rare treat!
So of course they removed that from the remake.
Chugga was so done with the bomb omb challenge that he didn't do the "last time" thing 😂
10:35
I only Just now realised after 11 years that the English Localizers may have been cooking a ROFLcopter joke since Least Partners In Time at the earliest.
I couldn't find any sources of ROFL being coined before 2003 which is when Fawful was born but It Does retroactively fit in with his charachter, with him coming from a land where many things (and his boss) were named after a kind of laughing.
I've literally been starting to quote " *With our minds* " at work, much to the confusion of many lmao.
The magikoopas have always been some of my favorite if bowser’s minions and seeing them as one of bowser’s coolest ones here is nice to see. Just casually summons a firing squad of wizards to turns his enemies into barbecue
I really love this minions attack because it shows Bowser’s capabilities with magic. Something we rarely see nowadays
It’s really cool that we can see the train tunnel made by the Broski Moles. It makes sense how the Elite Trio dragged Bowser’s ass all the way from his place to Peach’s junkyard. There’s no real practical use for it, but it’s neat that it can be used
At last, we’re reached the pinnacle of the area soundtracks! Deep Castle is a masterclass of a track that pairs perfectly with Final Castle (the outside track)
You can’t talk to the Magikoopas with the bros, they’re out of reach. I believe there’s dialogue for them, but the only minions you can reach with them are Shy Guys, Koopas, and Bob-ombs
The Dark Fawful Guys (as well as an upcoming boss) have a chance of dropping the Lucky Charm, which is a Stache doubler. Damn good equipment if you can get it
...Stache DOULBLER ?! That sounds completely busted ?
Sounds absurd, I know, so I double checked, aaaand I accidentally lied. “Doubles rate of Lucky hits”. So close enough
2:40 I really love this bit of detail, it shows the different areas being connected.
*Peach's Castle*
Bowser: Ok, I got one of the keys for this door.
*smashes the cage open*
Marni: We're free!
Show those fiends the full force of our magic and burn them to ashes! *cackles*
Magikoopas: For King Bowser!
Marni: That's what I like to hear!
Bowser: That's right. Let's give these enemies the pounding of a lifetime.
Goomther: Let's find the rest of those keys and get to Fawful.
Shawn: SHOO-RAH!
Marni: Let's fly!
*Bowser and his minions continue searching the rest of the castle for the keys*
Marni: Say, girls.
*ducks under a fireball casted by Marni*
Marni: How bad could it really be?
Goomther, Kathie, and Bonnie: Very.
Marni: Oh boy.

Uh... 8 hours of bobomb placements has no value... Kamek's turn, I guess.
Kamek: Hold up... Young master... Whew. I need a moment. My old body needs a moment.
*grab*
Kamek: Nyeh!?
Sally: SURPRISE! How was that one?
Kamek: Ah, Sally, so the Magikoopas were just freed. I'll send Marni my regards. Ah. Your massages really help revigorate me.
Kapsi: Sally?
Sally: KAPSI! *goes to hug him*
Kapsi: ACK! NO! SIS, WHY?!
Gooby: Oh, right, you did say you sis had better magical ability.
Marx: Ah. You said you did it so your sister had joined with you.
Before storming the castle...
Marx: So, why did you guys join?
Gooby: The news of Captain Goomba. Dude apparently revolutionized the army. Made me want to join.
Kapsci: My sister...
Bast: Who?
Gooby: Gah!
Marx: When did you-?
Bast: I overheard you... talking. I think I was the only one.
Gooby: Thanks for saying.
Bast: If I may, I joined because this was where I was created.
Gooby: Oh, yeah some bob-ombs were made in the bob-omb factory here. Others are made by other bob-ombs. Why are some able to respawn?
Bast: Usually, it's strength or a flaw in the creation process. Some bob-ombs desert and live their lives. Some happily die in service.
Marx: I remember you mentioned a guy named Dave with sorrow. Was he one of them who couldn't respawn.
Bast: I don't know.
Young quartet: *face palm* You completely missed the point.
Kapsci: What am I going to do with you, sis...
Goddangit the Magikoopa didnt sayy Moo-Rah
Jeremy: “I get named in the game and don’t even get mentioned in the squad comments?!
What kinda Dark World Entertainment is this? Is my life a joke. Does anyone care about me?! I-“

Sally: Jerry's complaining.
Kamek: Tell him to not open his mouth. I've seen him ruining training of former leaders of the brigade.
Gooby: Wait, Kamek isn't the leader?
Kamek: Nah. I'm more of the founder.
Captain Goomba: Hearing Kamek saying "Nah" feels so weird.
Kamek: I was the first, but decided to play caretaker over leader.
Fun fact about the Dark Trashure:
If you fight them as Mario and Luigi, for some reason when they launch the cannonballs it comes out INSANELY fast.
He did realize that after some point and pointed that out.
@tybraker27 yes I know. I just added information that he didn't say. Ex: if all mechawfuls lose their heads, they just fly away.
Hooooooooh! Both versions of Peach's Castle theme are the best area themes in the entire series. Yoko Shimomura is a musical genius.
To give credit to the remake: The interior of Peach's Castle looks even better there
14:45 Actually, hackers have found that Magikoopa Mob (and Goomba Storm for that matter) have no hidden dialogue. Makes sense considering the bros can't reach either of them without hacking.
15/15 Blitties Collected!!!
The Magikoopa attack is a good attack, but now that all the Blitties have been collected it's time to get Bowser's final special attack.
Another fun fact about the Inner Peach Castle music: it has Cackletta's lietmotif in it! I geuss Fawful never forgot about his old mistress...
the music INSIDE peach's castle played for me first on October 2012, around halloween.
this song will forever be my halloween song...
A cool detail is that listen closely and cackletta’s theme can be heard
Funnily enough, I distincly remember first fighting the next giant battle on Halloween as well. Though that was probably in 2009 when the game released.
+300 defence, the highest defence up item bowser has, marked as the first item in the bowser shell ID in the game, and it sells for 1 coin.
15:30
This throws me back to the Hewdraw heads arguing each other in Kid Icarus: Uprising.
Just the fast-forwarded mumbling really gets me.
And Bowser is when all three Hewdraw heads get there act together.
EVERYBODY SHUT UP AND FOCUS!
13:22 Ah shit, he’s gonna come down and get the drop on me
(Flys away to the platform where the op’s at)
“… I sense that at I made a mistake…”
Just adding a few specifics to the Naplocks' behavior. They will always spawn either 6 or 7 blocks while awake, Bowser can only break a maximum of 5 blocks before they're sent flying, and he can only stay crouched to dodge 6 blocks at most with near-perfect timing.
Furthermore, those blocks can inflict Dizzy, leaving Bowser completely exposed to another stack of 6-7 blocks.
Man that's MEAN
Roulette fail count: 15
5:28 - And Marie. And Grunty. You...have a lot of them.
No "key-p-away" pun?
14:50 Yeah, about that, you actually can talk to the Bob-ombs as Mario and Luigi. It's just the Magikoopas that they don't get to talk to.
oh boy magikoopa mob I sure hope we dont immediately get another brawl attack that outclasses it as soon as we turn in the blitties
_[Listens to the intro.]_ Okay, now he’s just messing with us. He can actually sing, can’t he?
Well... of course he can. 😏
Someone in the comments here theorized they may have been some "Max Drumstick" , but got changed sometime before release.
Deep Castle has to be one of my favorite overworld themes in the entire series. Even in the remake it's amazing.
The harpsichord in the remake is glorious. My favorite take on the Cackletta theme
Also the amount of blocks are a little random ranging between 6 and 8
7:30 ah deep castle, has a motif of cackletta, but what i love about it more is that its more fawfulized in the remake, or dark star estetic, magentas and purple and it Feels like fawful is fully in control of peaches castle
13:30 this is often used as a speedrunners tactic
15:08 whats nice is you can make long swipes if you dont lift up, this was used to cheese on the Challenge mode
16:47 I forgot in the remake bowser breaths fire but here he uses his finger to summon fire, hard to tell which one i like
19:06 Dark MechAwfuls, they are more dangerous of the common green ones, they Also summon a stronger, body that will tank your attacks and make their own attacks harder, you also need two or more to have them stay for enemies
The fact that Bowser has 69 Horn is absolutely hilarious and amazing at the same time
7:24 Man, if a track like that doesn't scream classic "near-end RPG final dungeon" I don't know what would... man, now I want to listen to RPG soundtracks
Worth Mentioning: if you choose the drumsticks with the roulette in the freezer, it'll say you got 5 Nuclear Drumsticks
unfortunately, turns out its just TNT drumsticks (i'd imagine Nuclear Drumsticks would heal 400 hp or something high like that)
Whelp, we’re finally here, in the depths of Peach’s Castle, with arguably one of the best final level themes of all times.
*City escape music playing* 🎶
Rolling around crushing my enemies away
Got places to go, gotta teleport *with your minnnd....*
Can't stick around, have to keep smashing on
Guess what lies ahead, only one way to find out!
I find it funny that bowser has all these minions inside his shell and it seems like there’s so much room
Emile missed an easter egg/glitch. at 18:25 in the freezer, if you land on the drumstick item, it gives an incorrect name for the item. It gives you TNT drumsticks, but the textbox states they are "Nitro" drumsticks, which dont exist.
Maybe Nitro Drumsticks was the original name for TNT Drumsticks.
*Nuclear Drumsticks
01:55 You're correct. The best shell is definitely the King Shell though, giving only 40 less DEF, but also increasing POW and SP by 20 each, as well as raising the power of punches by 30%.
14:02 Wicked Shell is definitely also a good option here, serving as an upgrade of the Rampage Shell. It's also called the 'Demon Shell' in the German translation.
05:28 That's definitely a strange harem you got there.
08:01 _Nah, other way around; Kingdom Hearts got the Super Mario RPG composer._ ;P
14:41 Yeah, Magikoopa Mob is the only minion cage that the bros don't have access to (well, other than Goomba Storm, but you're forced to get those before the bros can leave Bowser's body anyway).
14:50 If there is, then it goes unused. Or rather, it's impossible to see.
22:52 What I find funny about that is that the entire next game is then based on sleep.
25:00 It will always fly away if it's by itself.
26:36 Precisely.
The Alarm Bomb-Ombs remind me of Short-Fuse from Fairly OddParents.
(How fitting since Bowser is about to fight the Nega-Bowser)
I can't say I recall what you are referencing. Going to guess some episode ?
@@PokeMasrerJ He's from the episode, "Big Superhero Wish," of the Fairly OddParents.
There’s something really interesting about Magikoopa mob and that is bowser actually prepares his own magic to add onto theirs, A detail lost in the remake because for whatever reason they just decided to replace that detail with just bowser breathing flame on them for WHATEVER REASON
Here's a fun fact:
The Dark Mechawful heads will always fly away if there are no other enemies currently present.
WHOSE READY FOR ANOTHER BROQUE MADAME CHALLENGE WITH THE MAGIKOOOPAS????????????
Meeeee!!!
Crazy to think we are already on Episode 41 this has been such a wonderful journey so far!
Very surprised that he didn't talk about how, when using Magikoopa Mob, in the original, Bowser conjures fire from his hand while IN THE REMAKE he just breathes fire.
You can't be afraid of who you don't respect.
And the mob of the many people who don't scare me.
See that is why I use the cheap ring. When it eventually does not matter which attack you use, might at well always be random. Combined with the sp recovery stuff means you can rarely need to refill sp. :O
The other key door that doesn't lead forward has a block with the Economy Ring in it, which reduces the SP cost of every move by 50%
First your waifu was Daisy, then it was Slippy Toad, and now it's Broque Monsieur.
15:21-15:25 "Allow me to honor you by performing the dance of joy!"
A small correction, Mario and Luigi don't have dialogue for the Magikoopas, but they do for the Shy Guys and Koopas in addition to the Bob-Ombs. Would probably be a good thing to put in the bonus video.
Give Luigi the challenge medal. The battles will become interesting
5:25 Emile lists his waifu le like slippy toad and daisy but forgets about gruntilda also broque monsieur is actually a husbando
Slippy would also be a husbando then, no?
@@LexSchilperoord Oui.
where did the grunty and slippy waifu/husbando joke originate from?
The slippy and Grunty waifu joke came from therunawayguys collab of banjo kazooie and star fox 64
My favorite parts of chuggaaconroy lets play when he lets the music play for little bit
I do it all the time. Every new song deserves to be heard in their entirety.
That's true
7:22 This is why I will never understand people who say BIS ost is only good bc it has The Grand finale when Peach castle theme is so fitting like The castle has fallen and the only person that can save it is you. It just fits so well
I love how you can hear Cackletta's theme in the Inside Peach's Castle theme
15:38 "OK, we'll have Alpha Team hit the cavities, then deploy two --" Was that an AlphaDream reference? I think it might have been.
Much love.

The only way you live it is if you have the small shell equipped to negate it.
We hear one of the best songs in the game as we head *deep-er* in the *castle.*
youre probably thinking of Bluey, australian cartoon about a family of dogs. it _had_ become a bit of a worldwide sensation and... oddly enough it seems pretty wholesome.
