The Native American Indian culture should be kept alive, their unique haunting music brings so much emotion to anyone listening. So sad that these people lost their land and many lost their lives. Their music will live on.
I think you are the very best. I love to watch you perform. Your whole heart and soul goes into your music. I have never seen another musician that feels the music like you do. That feeling transports to whoever is listening to you. You are definitely in a class of your own. Just one man kneeling on a rug. How can so much magic come from such simple settings. We have a similar musical instrument in China, called Xiao, which is made of bamboo and is like a vertical flute. I have one at home but is extremely hard to play. A lot of traditions and cultures have been lost. The cartoon songs, Big Fish is my favorite.
Some studies say: Native American was from Shang Dynasty of China in 3500 years ago. Chinese has similar traditional instrument--Xiao and Shen, both made from bamboo.
