At first I thought "wow that gold slab is quite thick" but then realized that it has to be thicker to model all those details in 3D onto it. Very awesome result :D

Can you do a video of all the materials/tools you use or what you’d recommend someone to get who’s just starting off?
you really need to narrow down what it is you want to do. there is literally almost no end to the tools you can acquire in this trade, and the materials are just as varied. as a beginner a lot of people use copper and or silver as they are both very malleable and forgiving metals, a collection of files of different grades (corse > fine), some pliers, sawframe (something to cut on), emery paper (something flat to wrap it around) maybe a hammer.....this is literally the most basic setup to start learning some of the fundamentals...
