2 suggestions. 1. encase the whole build so there's above protection as well as add another floor. So make a cube. 2. Have the TC in a armored room with multiple auto turrets
If u had the pipes running to the tc u should do the the endless furnace with metal to the tc and make the base metal to see how that goes, also place several tc threw out the base but have the pipes run under the base so they can't see were the dif tc are
@@darrenpage4619 this is a great idea, if they had hidden the TC and all pipes in their little underground area and had less doors this base would actually be unraidable
To improve this: 1:add a tower in the middle to roofcamp doorcampers, 2: use two TCs instead of one with a gap in the middle, so if they get one, they only get half the base, 3: add a roof cone around the sam site to make it harder to destroy, 4: add chainlink around the turrets, 5: also use a bed with a small box with a pre crafted TC in several 1X1s, so when they find the TC you can instantly place another one. 6: run pipes through every single 1x1, to avoid detection of the TC.
Also id enclose tc with drop boxes with random drop boxes. And even add pixel gapped tops. Very neat and fun. Add turrets pointing in. Maybe do a circle concept. Some metal barricades. High walls.
@@farmersamwdolinie if you connect the foundations closely to TC obviously it be more expensive due to exponential growth factor when connected together.
I think the only thing that makes this better would be you add a roof over everything. Then it is a little easier to stop camping as well as hiding which square has loot if they are watching from afar. Also use double doors so you can add garage doors to make raiding them harder. Also maybe having a box and/or furnence in each one and making pipes in and out of each.
also mix in diversion, metal cube in the middle with no doors. They'll waste time blowing these up for nothing. Doors should be facing random directions, makes it more chaotic and harder to figure out instead of so orderly.
a few improvements to be made for an eventual runback pipes if you use them use them nearly everywhere with like small boxes connected to each other chain-link fences over turrets on top to protect them and also more turrets and 3 battery spots more protection vs mlrs garage doors for raid cost ++++ some 1x1 has turrets in it and a heartbeat sensor + door controller : when enemy approaches it opens
Heartbeat sensor connected to main loot with pipes that automatically move it to various other rooms since you're already going through the trouble of piping everything
Would've been an insane cost hike but you should've enclosed the entire thing. The main weakness is it being completely open so people stalking you can see what doors you're coming in and out of.
The soft fixed to that is never putting all of your stuff in one door. Spread your loot out so completely that they get nothing but scraps for each wall raided.
Honestly, though, with the industrial update, you can just move your loot into a room you never enter. And just "stop" the loot at a random point in the pipeline, while every single 1x1 is identical to every single other 1x1. (though tbqh should probably do 2x1s so you can more effectively hide the TC, but eh.)
One thing that would make this even more sadistic is if the loot would run away from raiders via under foundation pressure plates triggering the loot's migration. You could also have false floors for loot boxes to be hidden before it gets to the TC. Every door becomes a loot dropoff point.
Heh, rather than pressure prates to displace the loot, make some 1x1s just plain shotgun traps behind doors linked to a pressure plate. Takes 0 electricity, and now it's a trap base too.
When you add a bunch of pipes it really cuts down the chances of them picking an unimportant room. You should pipe only the rooms you have connected underneath.
This video has changed my life. My whole outlook on everything that exists in this world, in fact even in the entire universe. I can never look at anything I know the same way ever again. China wall outside, roof camp tower in center. Use the gap floor to hide pipes for TC automation, double doors with heart beat censors and turrets hidden behind them. Shotgun traps scattered randomly. You got yourself a house of horror.
You should mix square and triangle foundations with doors. Also build in area where you can hide Tc underground. Since you can use pipes now to re-stock it, you dont even need a door to it.
Honestly kind of interested if you will keep this idea going like evolving your base based on raids and comment suggestions. You got the raid you wanted and it was an online one :)
You need to have trenches going through to every single 1x1 so NO ONE can tell where you come from or go to. That's the only way to be as discreet as possible

If i ever encounter this type of base on any server, ill automaticly screaming. SILENCIOOOOO... Btw from what i see as a the rider. Ill just put tc to grief your base and start pumbling one by one, with teritorial building privilage, give me more benefit. And put furnice in front every doors you have to block you in. One thing that would help is the location. Thus was placed next to a hill that would give enemies a height advantage. Also, making tall walls around the place can help as well. Perhaos even two layers of walls. Hidden turrets would help as well. Have a heart monitor to open the hidden turret doors, and have a pipe system to auto create and fill the turrets with bullets.
There are a few flaws with this design... 1.) All you need to do is HV or Compound Bow out the turrets and then you just need to hit one wall (the same each time) on each of the pods. The wall with the lowest ID is the one with the TC... 2.) You can technically soft side the connecting bits for each row and then it'll show really quickly which row has the TC in it. 3.) You can merely observe the base owner entering each door and the one with the TC would be easy to find once he opens up that door exposing it. 4.) There are a ton of cheaters in Rust... They can literally see which pod has the TC and the loot... you've made your base a ONE door raid for them now.
Do not put sam sites high off the ground, they do not shoot anything below them. You were better off placing a few around your base as low as you could get them with high walls and or turrets to protect them
Suggestion for this base if you can add square foundations in every open spot, the easiest way I see it being raided is to cut off half the base at foundations and see what side decays

So enemies can now follow the industrial pipes to the Tool cupboard, thus negating all the hard work to make it an impossible base to raid. Next time put the pipes in the crawl way to hide them.
I store a lot of main loot in an outer part of my base pretty often. Usually in an airlock to get in and out of my compound. No one ever raids those cause there’s obviously nothing in them. Much easier to just jump the walls than to blast through the airlock.
All you gotta do is camp and see where you open the most! Maybe try to hide it with walls and do like some 1x1 together with corridors to hide a little more where u have tc and loot
If done correctly, you should have been able to fit a good number of TC's in that base. Starting from the center is generally a bad Idea, as that forces the largest TC coverage to be in the center, having it on the edge, reduces the TC coverage massively, so you can use more TC's. Having half of the doors lead to a anti raid, defense network would have also helped tremendously. I think even if people didn't watch were you were going if you got off for over 8 hours and they got a few jackhammer and a workbench they could break the foundations connecting each row disconnecting them from the tc and which ever row isn't decaying means it's the row with the tc jeep playing that game and it's like mine sweeper
If you have a spare medium range pc and an alt account, get full food/water and auto clicker to spam tc in another 1x1 so even if they get the right one it just moves like whack-a-mole 👍
What if you made it so each ROW was separate and had a TC in one of the rooms. That way they would have had to find / destroy 11 TCs in order to take it over. And if they don't take it ALL over, the part they did control is basically unusable. Also would make upkeep for any single TC a LOT more manageable, so wouldn't need to run pipes. (Alternatively, create 2x2 blocks, each with a TC.) By doing blocks, you could stagger the buildings, so they can't just shoot down the whole row or column.
Still you got things wrong... 1. You can't set up auto-fillers to TC because you can follow pipes, so you'd have to build the entire pipe system underground if you were going to do this. 2. Not enough defense. To theoretically defend 100 1 by 1s like this, you'd need at least 3 SAMs and more like 6-8 turrets covering vital areas. And lastly, you'd want a compound (preferably a double conpound) around it all. 3. It's just not viable at that size. Great idea/concept, near IMPOSSIBLE to actually pull off.

How can something so simple be a genius. Would love to see an expansion on this
Upgrade it to be an hotel! Every square is a room and maybe build it cool with rp stuff like shops, entertainment area, crafting etc..
Adding a few random 2 story towers in the mix would be extra random. Could also put doors on those as well. Chain linkdoor fences everywhere as well.
So you compound bow turrets, pick the foundations connecting the 1x1s so they dont get fed by the TC and they decay EZ LOOTS
Does the auto fill kinda just give away where tc is? It’s the only two places with a pipe. Seems a bit obvious.

Great idea/concept, near IMPOSSIBLE to actually pull off.
the pipes really give away where any loot is in that sort of base you need to run pipes to every single 1x1
