This bird likes blond little girls and sings for them, after 2 hours you wish he had an 'off' button.

@Jackline Mugo: Sorry, somehow they got lost in the export. You can turn on the englisch captions to get the english subtitles for that portion of the video.

A formal complaint has been laid with the New Zealand Government about the Parrot Cafe over the theft of an endangered native Kea. The bird appears 4:03.

Theft is hard accusation and I am not sure it is warranted. The Kea has only been added to the list of endangered animals in 2000. Beforehand exports of Keas were rare but possible. Furthermore, since 1961 successful breeding efforts are taking place in Europe, with the first successful zoo being the Zurich Zoo. Currently 70 zoos in Europe are home to Keas, 1/3 of them are situated in Germany. For me it would be very surprising if there was any need to procure Keas illegally from NZ, when there are so many places in the vicinity that could supply you.

@@alexfrank1831 Thank you for your reply. It is possible I might owe the Parrot Cafe an apology. Four months ago I discovered a Kea for sale in Japan. I emailed the Japanese Parrot cafe to enquire how they got the Kea and got no reply. I did the same with the German Parrot cafe and got no reply. In the four months since I first discovered the Kea in Japan I have emailed the New Zealand Department of Conservation 11 times to enquire about legal and illegal animal trade and have received No Reply. How/Why do you know much about Keas in Europe? Once again thank you for your reply.
