I've never had pumpkin bread that wasn't the sweet, cakey bread but this looks very interesting! And my daughter thought the lost bread looked delicious!
Hi! This is the first time I have been to Rambling Rose Farmhouse. This caught my eye in the choices YT sent me because I have the same KBS bread maker and have wanted more savory, bread recipes. I made this yesterday and it not only came out looking fantastic, but the taste was exactly what I have been looking for. It was a little softer than I would have liked and therefore, a little hard to slice. I am thinking of using the whole wheat or multigrain setting next time. What do you think? Thank you.
Welcome, I'm glad that you liked this bread, I have some more recipes in the works. I have been thinking that this bread would be good with some whole wheat flour mixed into the recipe. I think I am going to try that the next time I make it. Also using the darker bread setting may make the bread a little easier to slice.
Ok this is my next loaf, since you talked me into a machine. And you did all the research for me as well.

Hadn't thought about the darker bread setting making a difference but certainly worth a try. Thanks for the tip.
