ALL THE CAUCASUS VIDEOS: bit.ly/3WeMvO0 Racha lies in the mountain ridges of the High Caucasus range and is renowned for maintaining traditional Georgian values and customs. As we drove through small villages and mountain roads in this region, we were stunned by the natural beauty and sense of peace. As the sun set, we headed back to our guesthouse. Earlier in the day, we were invited to join a meal prepared to us by our hosts, who had organized some local teenagers to perform traditional Georgian music and dances.
1:25 Georgia's national dish ( I think) is some kind of flatbread stuffed with cheese, kind of like a calzone without sauce. I saw it on a cooking show a couple years ago and saved the video in a playlist somewhere, but never made it because I couldn't find the the kind of cheese that was supposed to be used. It looked really good, though.
I think you’ll enjoy Georgia and the Caucasus in general. I have a playlist of videos from this region, you can watch it here: The Caucasus Region - SYIFA ADRIANA ruclips.net/p/PLonhezuZQT1bKV9CdgGe22ZUFSoWgNrAc Hope it’s helpful for you x
It does, doesn't it? This would be an excellent filming location for a fantasy movie like Lord of the Rings or something. (Not really into movies like that, but Georgia really is very picturesque.)
I am happy to watch another absolutely gorgeous and relaxing video. I love Syifa to see you more relaxed and safe on this journey with Dave. Beautiful presentation from the accommodation to the super beautiful scenery along the way, and the view of the mountains is amazing, it's like the transalpine in our mountains. Thank you so much for this wonderful video it is a real therapy for me, recovery is going well, day by day I feel much better. May you always have safe and blessed travels.
Thank you Marin. Indeed I was a lot more relaxed when Dave was around although it took us a few days to get comfortable with each other in front f the camera. Thank you so much for watching, Marin! I hope you are recovering better each day :)
Love everything about Sakartvelo, from food to music to the hospitality of the people. Can't wait to go myself. Didi madloba for the good work! P.S. You dance really well!
Your videos are so beautifully shot and and edited for something that's the work of one itinerant person using (presumably) only the equipment she carries with her on her travels. When I saw your first video I thought I was watching a BBC program or something. That's why I referred to you as the "host".
I always enjoy the videos seeing you interact with locals and random strangers. Those teens are surely talented and how is the taste of that drink like 😄
Aww thank you, Maxim! We love interracting with locals and I think it's a great way to get to know the country a little bit better. :-) Thank you so much for watching!
Wow love your videos! This is truly the real way of travelling and somehow we have forgotten to travel this way! How do you find guests house to live? They are so authentic and such a good way to experience the real culture and interact with the locals, I'm having a hard time to find a legit and a safe guest houses to live in Georgia for my upcoming visits. Is there a particular site you use or any tips to find the guests house ?
Thank you so much for your kind comment. It warms our heart to read this. I can recommend Emily Lush blog on Georgia travel for your reference. There’s a page dedicated to guesthouses in Georgia: wander-lush.org/best-guesthouses-in-georgia-country/ Hope this is helpful 😊
@@SyifaAdriana Thank you for sharing! Somehow I missed this one, wander-lush is definitely the top blogs for Georgia. Great work on your videos! It's like watching on Discovery channel or Natgeo. Love this channel already :)
At the end of the video, which song are they singing and dancing to? I want to listen to the full song because it sounds pretty good. Can anyone tell me? By the way you are amazing Syifa. You are doing a very good job.
Thanks for sharing your wonderful journey with us Syifa. I'm glad things worked out for you. I faced the same situation in terms of love. But after 6 years of long distance relationship with someone in the UK I decided to give up.
What happened around 4:00 - 5:20 I think the audio gone? Respect to that man in the village who knew about Jakarta, remind me to some of people from Serbian trip, funny how people in other side of Europe know about the world more than people in bigger richer mainstream countries who probably don't know much about Indonesia.
Yes, unfortunately there was a glitch in the editing as one of camera's audio was broken. Haha yes it's fascinating to know that there are people in some remote parts of the world that know Jakarta 😂😂 Thank you so much for watching as always 🙂
Thank you so much, Greg for your comment! Yes, unfortunately there was a glitch in the editing as one of camera's audio was broken. I hope it was enjoyable nonetheless :-)
Lovely videos Syifa of former USSR countries. Someone told me that Armenian girls are the most loyal among all eastern European countries. Be safe! Till then keep travelling.
Thank you Ajit! I have no knowlegde about women's loyalty as I was dating men instead of women 😂 Jokes aside, women in the Caucasus are beautiful indeed. Thanks for watching!

That "k" word can be "karga". did the locals tell you the meaning? In Turkish it means "the crow".
"kargad" in Georgian means - be good, goodbye. "kargi" means good.
