I think it's just two different stories about injustice. So one about police brutality and the other one about war.

MJ’s empathy is crying out to humanity that we all are tired of seeing hate, and death and how people treat each other for no reason. I think MJ was a huge empath and he felt deeply the hurt and pain the world faces. I think news stories probably gave him nightmares and he’s crying out if I’m feeling like this someone else has got to be feeling this and so we collectively need to speak out against all injustices. Not just war and police brutality but violence in inner cities and the poor.. (Man in the Mirror). I think this is more evidence of his humanity. Also Mike put his money where his mouth is. He holds the Guinness record for most charitable contributions Ever by an artist. So he deeply cared about all humanity. And to take in that pain as an empath is overbearing at times. I really think he had enough of how the world was going and how we treat each other.
We need at least 3 Michael Jackson reactions a day his music is so good!!! This generation missed out big time

If he were still here, he’d probably be heartbroken. Or he’d be a massive leader, like he already was. We have always been spoon fed media lies, just we’re getting sick of it. MJ saw through and through it.
Truly ahead of his time. His father stole his childhood and made him mature faster than he ever needed to. Came out an amazing human being though. He's deeply missed.

Who constantly made hits & great music with such important messages? No one. The two first verses are pure poetry and so heartfelt! Just wish this song had gotten its proper attention back in the day! It was going to be a charity single for the Iraq War, but never come to fruition because his record label SONY sabotaged him, which ended up with SONY on purpose tanking all promotion for Michaels last studio album Invincible.
