Austin Reed is a huge sleeper in the NFL Draft class, he had more passing yards than CJ Stroud, Bryce Young, and Caleb Williams (in 2022 season). Western Kentucky QB Austin Reed will be throwing at the NFL Combine, next to JJ McCarthy, Michael Penix Jr, Bo Nix, Joe Milton III, and Spencer Rattler

The numbers do lie. He was a QB at a Mid Major. Cut those yards and TDs in half while removing 10% from their completion rate. That will give you a more accurate skill level compared to P5 QBs
There has been really good QB's from Mid Majors just one off the top of my head is Ben Roethlisberger

A guy from Colorado School of Mines had crazy stats similar to this but the teams they played were not even Junior College caliber . If you are a good player snd chose to play against bad teams in a weak league it does not mean you can play in the Pros. If he was really good he would transfer to a power 5 school and compete against better players. There are high schoolers with crszy stats but when the get to college snd play with others of the same caliber then it shows if they are talented or not!

He’s a great player… in college he won’t translate at all to the nfl he could be great but he has so many flaws too. His release point is terrible most throws will end up getting knocked down by a defensive lineman. Most of his passes are check downs which may work at WKU but not in the nfl his release point takes too long which will end up messing with his deep ball accuracy he’s got great pocket awareness and all that but he’s got a lot of flaws.He’s not gonna get drafted and that’s why. This is just my opinion though if you disagree I really don’t care.
