I am Shannon from Idaho!!!!! My seven year old daughter thinks I am famous now because I was mentioned on TV 😂. Nicole, you are so inspiring to me and so many others. You know how there are people and you're like, "I want to be like them when I grow up" even though you are, well, grown up. That's you! I want to be like you when I grow up! Thank you for having the courage to pursue your dreams and then sharing that journey with the rest of us!

While I think renting the house out would be added income for you, I think you made a great choice for using the house as an everything house. Packing, shipping, a studio for recording, a hangout for tired teens and maybe mom, rooms upstairs for free workers and a kitchen to boot where maybe you can run and get lunch. 👍🏻🎃🍁🍂💚🙃

And the journey continues!! This is a great way to use the house. Love the idea of the free workers...you need the help. You are really on the right track here..with everything. Don't be concerned about that brain of yours being so busy all the time. That's what makes it work! That's why we love following you...not alot of people can or want to be as busy/creative as you are. That makes you the right person..in the right place...at the right time. Grandpa would be so proud, and he'd be painting, too! Sorry, no corms for me this yr....still can't get them to grow well enough to take up my small space out in my market patch. Love them, though.

Love that you love old houses too. Your kids are at age where independent living is a goal and rent is so high... when winter is wicked having a secure place to sleep feet away from the vulnerable babies without being on the road is going to be literally a life saver, plant and people!

I used to work at a nursery that has an old family house as the office. It was really nice! It's a great place to wind down when you need a break, and nice and cozy for offices without all the dirt that inevitably ends up in every crevice at the nursery. :P It'll be your "work home" so your home home can be.....well, home. :P Great choice!

Nicole, I wish I lived closer to help you out! I worked over three decades in the warehousing & distribution field. I absolutely loved what I did as I pretty much had to do it all at any given point lol. It is time consuming for sure but it helps when you get a groove going.
Also, I can promise you that Amazon shipping is NOT free. They hide and make up those costs in many many ways. However, it sounds like you got quite a reasonable charge for shipping. You should make sure to factor in all the costs of your packaging as well. Because if not, in the long run that could break the bank. I know you aren't trying to get rich off the shipping lol but you cannot personally eat the costs of all the various material required.
One thing that may help you is that the USPS has a flat rate box & you can get the boxes for "free" from the post office.

Having lots and lots of labeling experience, a hint to speed up the process is to take several labels off at once and line them up on your arm. Just put the tip on your skin and then you can quickly remove from arm and label your baggies sooooo much quicker.
