She sang so beautifully. Although she left this world so young, she left us with her beautiful voice and lovely feeling. She will be always remembered!!!!!!

I had never heard of Eva until someone brought her Songbird CD to my studio to do one of her songs. Can't remember which one now. My jaw dropped. How was it possible that she lived and died before anyone to speak of knew of her? She may be my favorite female vocalist of all time. But it's hard to listen to without becoming emotional each time. As I write this, even now, my eyes are a bit moist. I just love her. That 'bout sums it up.

This rendition of this song made me very emotional. I broke up with a great person in the rain and he had the most beautiful blue eyes. I can still see his face to this day, he was not expecting the break up. It wasn't that I did not care. it was because I believed I was holding him back for having a better life. I hated myself for it and did not date for a very long time. Funny thing is, I met someone just like him years later with the same blue eyes and beautiful nature, I married him. Unfortunately I was widowed young. I am now in the same country of my first love. I do so hope he found someone worthy of him and had a happy life.

The US recording companies never acknowledged her because she fitted in no particular genre... silly people... dumb as duck shit. At least she finally claimed recognition via the BBC.
