Actually if you have been listening, you should've sold so that you can buy back in during the accumulation phaze. It doesn't make sense to hold while it's in a bear market and hasn't done the accumulation phaze yet. During this phaze is when you accumulate crypto

Ben out of all the crypto channels out there, I think you’re the most educational and realistic channel on youtube. You’re entertaining to watch and you’re very good at articulating every little thing you show. You’re also realistic and don’t sugar coat anything. Times like these: macro > technicals. BTC has only seen a bullish economy. Keep that in mind.

I do think there's a bit of recency bias in that statement. I would argue that the uncertainty around BTC for the vast majority of its lifetime has likely negated any correlation to a "bullish economy". From 2009-2017, BTC was "around in a bullish economy" but NO ONE knew what it was. 2018-2019 were horrible bear markets. 2020 saw a black swan event and a then sudden move up due to massive stimulus. This is where your statement actually makes sense (again, only recently was BTC more highly correlated to the stock market and the mania surrounding equities, etc.)
I agree we don't necessarily know what BTC would do during a macro recession, but to say it has only experienced a bullish economy takes away from the consistent roadblocks it has had to deal with throughout its lifetime.
@@ryanbrisco6639 I totally agree with your points, that we had some hickups along the way between 2009 until now. But you can't deny that it has never looked as bad e.g. sky high inflation, hawkish fed and highest debt to GDP ratio.
@@lorenzo410 - absolutely - can't deny that sentiment is currently at an all time low and that we have a bumpy road ahead.
Pretty accurate, you can revisit this valuation one year on with some pride.

I would love to see a forecast of when in the future these two regression bands merge and presumably we get more stabilisation of the volatility. I've been watching your old videos and your forecasts have been incredible, so I'd just be really curious about this. Presumably that's a point where it becomes less strategic to buy the high highs and sell the low lows as they'll be harder to predict or diagnose. Great videos, Ben!
The mistake everyone makes is thinking the first lower low was in July 2022, when it fact it was a year prior in July 2021. The bull market ended in Apr 2021 and has been in a correction ever since.

You're nothing less than absolutely honest and legit analyst I've ever come across, whether it's stocks bonds or cryptocurrency. Obviously by looking through the comments I'm here I'm not alone in praising you for your honesty and your fairness. Thank you so very much for doing what you do.
So agreed. Ben has been absolutely level-headed all along. Even the handful of people that I thought were also fairly level-headed, I regret listening to as they kept advocating for everything to keep going up and some promoting coins like THETA which is now in the toilet at around $1 which I've lost a bunch on. Lesson learned and I will stick with people like Ben.
Looking back on this and Ben's predictions were surprisingly accurate!
Since the 2008 crash we have has quantitative easing. This is the first time in history that we will have tightening. How will this affect Bitcoin at halving? I feel like this will affect things.

@@chrisbraun3028 I think the fed will step in during the coming recession to stimulate the economy, but at this point that’s months to over a year out IMO. They have been very clear that they are going to keep increasing rates and off-loading their balance sheet for the time being. By the time they change pace and decrease rates, BTC and crypto in general will be near zero. Look how far down we’ve already come and we aren’t even technically in a recession yet. Crypto has never seen an economic down turn like we are about to see, and it’s going to get absolutely massacred (already is, but further down to go)

This channel has really had spot on price predictions for the long term, I wish I had listened to the advice and watched the power chart, but I was greedy waiting for the red zone that never happened this run.
Really good video Ben. The bitcoin price cycle is hard to predict at the best of times but this video shows a very plausible and realistic probability for the bitcoin price in the future. Any chance of doing a similar video for ETH?
