Hi Dean just want to say you have helped increase my confidence in my 24 study. reading the book is just never the same as having an experienced person be able to explain the finer points. I appreciate everything you're doing for us 24 candidates
Very worthwhile as always. Always help me summarize what I have read and understand better. Thank you. I am retesting in a week. I wish I had gone through all your materials before testing the first time. Thanks for all you do.
@@Series7Guru I even made a joke that helped me understand the “Call Up, Put Down… you ready for it? How does someone know they have intrinsic value after the first date? If they get a Call for a second date. 🫢 😂😂😂😂
Thanks for this carve out Dean. The textbook explanations should go into the ERISA category if you know what I mean. Retail communications is heavy on my series 6 practice exams, especially the little detailed ones like the VL disclosures came up. I made flashcards and feel much more prepared.
@@Series7Guru Thank you, that was my question as well. I think that slide you can see at the 8:30 mark may need updated to indicate "prior to first use" instead of just "within 10 business days.".
I seen “public appearance”, will this ever be a choice or there is only three types of communication ? If the registered rep went to a radio station or Tv show to talk about investment is that still consider as retail communication? Thanks!!!

For retail communications concerning derivatives, is the filing requirement within 10 days or full 10 days prior to first use?
Derivatives are 10 days prior to first use
Thank you!

You will not see public appearance on a FINRA exam unless it is a 9/10 or 24.
Great content!!
Thanks.
