  • I restored this 1988 Honda Transalp in the living room of my apartment in Hong Kong over the course of a year from 2019 to 2020.

    Hello, how did you get the camchain tensioner to its loose position? I pushed the thick block down with a screwdriver, but there is no space to pull the small metall up to secure it with a needle or somethin else. I always slip away if i‘m going to pull it up with the pliers. Do you have a Trick or something?

      Sorry mate I'm not sure how I can help you here. I used a Haynes manual during disassembly and reassembly following it very closely. Goodluck!

      Fairing is from Boano in Italy and the crash bars are from Touratech in Germany.
