When the kids start coming out of the house one by one following you, it's the best view of this blog, that's love right there ❤❤❤
It is also okay to want to spend time alone during this time. This is the second year I have done this and I am happier. I feel like ever since I lost my mom I don't go home because I just can't but I do see my family whenever I can. They have tried to talk to me about this but even if I was to explain it to them (or anyone) they wouldn't understand but it is the best thing I have done for myself.
So true, I'm also at a place where I enjoy my space, I love going home in December but I like the every second year I'm doing at the moment, it's giving me time to myself
Same same Lee, I let my mom go alone to a Christmas gathering and my mom and big sis were being to negative(i some how overheard their convo over the phone coz my mom told her), and like i really wanted to be alone even now on new years eve I'm in my room watching your vlog😅, and im okay. When i heard the things that were said about me i cried and VNd a friend and she said "vuyiswa please get to a point where you learn to be okay with being misunderstood especially that's all they do." That gave me comfort because I'm tired of being and doing all that THEY want and end up being unhappy because its not what i wanted. I'm happy to see i was not alone feeling like that and i wasnt being "snax"

Nothing wrong with that. This is the new norm. I for one live at home so the festive season is the only time I get yo be away and alone when wveeuonw else is coming from all over to spend the holidays at home. I save up the whole year and book myself a nice staycation away in a serene place. Been doing it for two years now, never been happier!
