I am an Israeli Jew living in Texas. When this terrible massacre happened, I thought that I would lose my mind as most of my family and friends were in Ashkelon, southern Israel. I saw the history of my past happening again, the massacre, the same rhetoric and everything that goes with it. I have never really been scared of anything despite the constant wars and conflicts. This massacre was something so evil that I along with all Israelis could not process or comprehend. I think the thing that confused and scared me, was what was happening here in the U.S.
I would like to say from the bottom of my heart and the depths of my soul THANK YOU! I could actually feel your prayers and your blessings. I felt light and love, something I desperately needed almost like the need for air. I will forever be grateful and thankful to all the wonderful christians ,who have brought so much comfort to all of us.

About mid-Nov, I had to make the decision to stop looking, reading, obsessing about Israel, Oct. 7th, and the hostages. I gave myself a break before I broke. I was waking up all hours of the night in worry and heartache, praying (or crying out) to God for the hostages, the IDF soldiers. I spent my days anxious and fearful, questioning how God could allow this to happen, but also knowing Ezekiel 38 will happen and be worse. I would break down in sobs as I saw more stories coming out about the hostages, the children. Here's the thing, the terrorists were terrorizing me from across the globe. I started seeing these hostages give updates, interviews...their strength and determination to not be terrorized gave me strength. I'm now allowing myself more news updates, a bit stronger now. Thank you, Joel Rosenberg, for continuing to report from a biblical point of view. God bless you, God bless and protect Israel, and God be with the hostages who remain in captivity.
