I tried to explore some of the tones to make it more brutal, so, it would be unpleasant to hear, my bad IBANEZ RGIXL NEURAL DSP GOJIRA GGD PIV AND INVASION NUCLEAR BASS GGD CAB CALISUIT
Honestly try Playing riffs in E flat, D standard, D flat ,C standard or drop C A lot of heavy as bands used 6 strings in e flat and d standard like Panterra, Slayer, Death and Mastodon. I have a 7 string in B flat and it sounds brutal but there is nothing special about it. What makes a riff heavy is technique like using pinch harmonics and using the Floyd rose to raising the pitch use a octave pedal use artificial harmonics on a 6 string. Add 12 to any fret is that note an octave higher so if i play a low g note in half step down which is on the 4th fret then suddenly move down to the 16th fret it sounds awesome.
@@deadlydarklord666 don't stop with those videos, you are pushing my interest and when i get my guitar i will try to play your songs! You are doing some great stuff, much respect to you🥂
dude you dope as hell. love your riffs. i've a question though, is the bass playing in the same octave as the guitars here? or is it an octave lower? the low notes sound actually fucking nuclear. hoping to get some insight.
Sick playing, bro! I really want to get this guitar as well. I see that it has a matte finish to it. Do you notice the paint getting shinier where you rest your forearm? I wanted to avoid that happening, but I don't know if that's possible lol
@@deadlydarklord666 Oh no, I don't mean your editing! It looks awesome! I mean the actual painting of the guitar. It's weird because an 8 string is one of the only good ways to achieve this tuning. You could tune down to drop D and put a capo on the first fret but I don't think that would have anywhere near the same impact. I don't know though, people have done tuning up experiments in the past and it can sound awesome. I'm just too chicken to do it. Using a capo to achieve weird tunings is what a lot of the math rockers do.
