I've been a Model A man since 1964. But we've got to understand that there's a lot of things working against the hobby these days, at least in my neck of the woods. Around here we have the highest gas prices in North America, increasingly high density housing so little open country to drive on. This also means that our land is too valuable to even have a free standing garage to work on or store an old car. There's many other things to consider. Just finding a knowledgeable mechanic to work on your A is a big problem if you can't do it yourself. Still, the attraction of the Model A remains strong, at least for some of us. I'm just glad that I got my Model A restored before I had to pay today's prices for bodywork. And I still had a few friends around to help me when I needed it.

I know my comment has nothing to do with this video except that it is about a Model A. What would you do or do you apply any type of sealant to the transmission drain plug and the differential drain plug in order to keep these plugs from leaking and or weeping?

I love Model As but I don't like the music that comes with these videos. it's all from the early 20th century well before 1928. Pretty corny.
