Thanks Meg. All meals look delicious and nutritious. Great to see your son enjoying your food. He is a great little motivator for other children eating plant based.
I'd love to see a video about "lazy" day meals. What do you eat on days you don't feel like cooking? Dining out is always a little more challenging and I get so tempted to eat junk.
Thanks for the great video suggestion, Rhonda! I try to always have food prepped in the fridge, so that I always have something on hand for when I don't feel like cooking. That being said, I do have lazy meals - oatmeal, toast and fruit, canned soup, microwaved potatoes and veggies. When dining out, it's always vegan, but not always oil free. I try to opt for salads, baked potatoes, steamed veggies. I also try to order items oil free or light oil - it's not always possible, but it's worth asking. If I eat a less healthful option, I enjoy it and move on with my whole food plant-based food at my next snack or meal. Hope that helps, and I'll put together a lazy meals video soon! 👍😊
I find it easier to avoid (sweet) snacks altogether, but I eat more at meals, especially breakfast and lunch. Each person needs to find what works for them.
Eating a greater volume at meal times can help curb snacking during the day. I like my fruit and other sweet snacks, but I understand that it can be helpful in some cases to avoid snacking and focus on meals. It can take some time to figure out what will work for us as individuals, and it can shift over time. Thanks for sharing what works for you! 😊
I love all your videos Meg, the sweet potatoes with the date sauce, looked amazing 🤩. Plantain cooked in the oven with your sauce would be delicious too. I’m definitely going to make the chickpeas. Ryerden is still cute as a button, such a sweet little man 🤗🙌🏻💝🌺
Thanks so much, Michele! Ooh, plantains with chocolate date sauce. Yum! 😋 Let me know if you give it a try! We're lucky that Ry is such a sweet little guy! 😊❤️
I am sitting here in the chilly NY weather with a hot drink and was so happy to see you with a hat! I grow my hair in the fall/winter because I get so cold. I was feeling cold for you with freshly buzzed hair. LOL! Great video as always!
Haha! It does get quite cold with my buzz cut, but warm drinks and hats help a lot! I'm so glad you enjoyed the video! Thanks for watching, Bridgette! 😊
I love how your son enjoys the food you make 🥰
Thank you! I love it too! 😊
Some really good ideas here; I particularly like the looks of those sweet potatoes! Very helpful, as always. 💖
Thanks Cyd! 😊

Thanks so much, Janice! We're lucky that Ryerden loves our food as much as we do! 😊
