You can use Jigsawblades with the bitdriver. With a small mod with shrinkingtube they fit very tight. It's a good thing, that this modell doesn't have a integrated saw
I carry mine in a Maxpedition coin pouch. The size is fantastic, just don’t expect Leatherman quality. Mine is reserved as a backup tool which it does a good job.
It is a great size especially since it's now permanently on discount. That's a good point, using it as a back up. I don't think I would use this as my primary multitool.
Nice review of the pros and cons. Before the Knipex Cobra XS, these were the best small pocket pliers available. The built in bit driver at the top is a very interesting design, but having used that feature several times it's disconcerting to me to feel the handles twist in my hand when applying any torque at all. It's not confidence-inspiring. As a result, it's one of my least favorite multitool drivers. Among the remaining tools, the file is one of the best I have found among small multitools and the left-handed scissors are among the worst. In the age of Knipex, the I find the PowerPint far less complelling. Probably the reason why the price has dropped.
I thought the bit driver was a great idea but judging by what you say about the handles twisting, it's probably poorly executed (typical SOG and Gerber). Also most of the tools on the Powerpint look at best mediocre to me, not sure about the scissors as they look ok but obviously until you have the tool there's no way of knowing. I love my Knipex Cobra XS though and not just for EDC, they have helped me out on jobs in confined spaces where other pliers, grips or wrenches wouldn't fit. I like to carry them with the tiny Wera bit driver handle - the 813 which is the size of a Bic lighter so it sits in the watch pocket of my jeans no problem - and a Victorinox for scissors and other tools.
The scissors are the worst of any multitool that I've tried. The file and the knife are halfway decent. If I had a choice, I'd pick the Knipex pliers but the ones on these are above average. There are better multitools for the price but it's hard to find one that's better in this size/form factor. That's why I keep going back and forth.
@@michaeledc That's the reason I carry my LM Squirt sometimes, the scissors on mine are broken and even before the spring broke they were crap, the little Phillips is so soft it gets burrs if used on a PH2, and the opener/flathead and main blade are mediocre. But it packs a nice small pair of pliers into a compact package, and the little file is pretty good too, it can even be used as a hacksaw on softer materials like aluminium and plastic tubing in a pinch. Carried with an SAK it is a nice little EDC.
On paper the Powerpint is the ideal small multitool but any thing that cuts is to dull to be of value. It ended up in my desk drawer as a bit driver and small pliers.
I would not trust this to be my primary multitool because of the side tools (the knife is passable). It's a real shame because the size and like you said the pliers and bit driver are great for edc. Thanks for commenting!
The tiny flatbit screwdriver is surprisingly strong.I've used to remove staples from furniture while tearing apart of a couch
That is very interesting! Thanks for sharing and commenting.

I'll research it and see if I can get it to work. I appreciate it!

Did you try to sharpen it?
The scissors are actually left-handed which is why you're struggling with it. It's a very strange design decision, perhaps out of necessity.
Thanks. I had no idea. I'll see if that makes it any better.
I like these mostly for their pliers. The side tools are just really weak and flimsy and actually dangerous in how they come out.
Pliers are great but I agree, side tools could use some refinement!
