There are several combinations of different shapes to communicate the status of a vessel, primarily due to reduced maneuverability, [balls, diamonds, triangles and rectangles]. I am not a mariner, but I too find it odd that so few people display maritime signals correctly. Richard gets extra dessert for having a keen eye with the camera, thank you Jude!🙂

Hello, yes we didn’t experience any problems on the crew list. We had three months in Greece, getting our transit log stamped and checking out (to Italy) and having some time in Malta where we exited the EU and all was fine. We are now in Tunisia for winter. We will make an update video. All the best Jude.

A budgerigar (budgie) is a small Australian parrot. The term ‘budgie smugglers’ is used for men’s swimwear of the Speedo style like swimming athletes would wear (that look like they’ve stuffed a budgie in them). They are heaps cooler and more comfortable than the giant shorts commonly worn by Americans (but clearly offend some 🤷♀️).

another way to rinse dishes is to use a small spray bottle to rinse them-- you use even less fresh water that way. P
