How To: Get Voluminous Curls with Barrel Curlformers® | HairFlair

Get Voluminous Curls by using our Barrel Curlformers® with this simple step by step guide.
Step 1: Dampen the hair and brush it through.
*(Tip: Hair can be washed or dampended with our Flairisol)
Step 2: Add your Styleformers® by HairFlair or any other curl-defining or styling creams to your damp hair.
*(here we used two pumps of Hold Styleformer® and two pumps of Nourish; warmed it in your hand and applied)
Step 3: Section the hair in half
*(define the top and bottom and pin the top half out of the way)
Step 4: Begin to apply your Barrel Curlformers®
*(Split the hair further into smaller sections so that they may fit into each Curlformer® whilst making sure your hook is faced the right way up and the hair is firmly placed within the hook at all times).
Step 5: Let your hair set or dry
*(This can be left to dry naturally for a couple of hours or done so with our Softhood® by HairFlair for a more rapid finish)
Step 6: Remove one Curlformer® by pinching the seal at the top and test the hair to see if it has set and dry properly. This may vary from hair type to hair type, and be dependant on the weather.
*(if damp, place it back in and let leave it a while longer).
Step 7: Style your look to suit your preference.
*(Texturise with finishing Styleformer; here we used a combination of Nourish & Define)
