-1.18: Wario unlocked for all, New Midori Kora Tournament mode added. Waluigi and Bowser Jr playble.
The game has ten redesigned courses, and features introduced in Mario Kart 7 such as gliders and underwater racing.
Grand Prix, National Battle, and multi-player modes are all featured in this game. Time Trial is not present in the game.
First the player pick the character they like. Then choose the karts stats. Before starting a race, the player can take their photo and decorate it. The arcade operator can set whether the camera should be used or not.
The player can choose to play in 50cc, 100cc and 150cc or reversed 150cc courses, with the latter three being unlockable.
Then players choose which one of seven themed tracks they want to play. Like Mario Kart Arcade GP and Mario Kart Arcade GP 2, there are only six racers compiting each other in the race rather than eight or twelve, in Versus, there are four racers.
Unlike the other two Arcade GP games, the goal of Grand Prix is to finish each race in 3rd or better, you are not force to be placed first.
Every circuit has a time limit of 250 seconds, and when the player is at first place they get their portait photography with a crown.
Players can now play in cooperative (2 players) or in teams (4 players), similar to Mario Kart:Double Dash!!.
Cooperative or team play allows the player to transforms the player's kart into a Fusion Kart that will drive and the second player is called to control the turret and shoot unlimited amounts of Green Shells at any direction but only for a limited period of time. Those also have health bars when playing in Team Mode with 4 players.
Instead of Mario Cards like the last two installments, the player can use a Banapassport Card to save their progress.
The racing commentary is voiced in Japanese by Rica Matsumoto, who also voices Ash Ketchum in the Japanese version of the Pokémon anime.

Mario Kart Arcade GP is 3D go kart racing game developed and published by Bandai Namco for Namco ES3A System.1.18 It's the latest update of the Japanese version released 11 Feb 2023 and adds two new playable characters.

I'm so glad this version is out.
(Kinda not related, but I read the description, and I'm tired of people saying that the retro tracks actually existed. The commercial was talking about each of the family members' first Mario Kart games. If they really did happen, we would at least have screenshots, footage, maybe even some awesome remixes.)

Plot:

My favorite tracks are peach castle and Kingdom way
Round 1 needs to start getting machines with this version rather than the much more common and older offline version… score saving, custom items, more content.. they could make so much more money on this version, even if they couldn’t translate it!
