Dr. David Wood. I live in a town that has 35% Muslim population. One of the biggest reasons why people convert is because they have fallen in love with a person who happens to be a Muslim. The Muslim tells the person that they can not be with them unless they convert.

the sad thing is my best friend is actually a muslim she always avoids talking about islam because she feels ashamed about her religion she sometimes slips and admits she knows her religion is a lie but she is trapped in to that religion with no escape her family physically abuse her whenever she does or say something they disagree with she usually lie to me about things about her life like things about her culture and her personal feelings but i can tell by her voice things aren't as peachy as she describes for example i know she is incredibly depressed because she feels alone and many times slip and let me know she is afraid for her life the worst part is we live so far away from each other that i cannot help her all i can do is pray for god to save her

Nowhere does He refer Yahweh as “Our God” a.k.a the God of Himself + others. In Matthew 19:17 (the verse you used to say the law is enough) a man walked up to Jesus and asked “teacher, what good thing must I do to get eternal life?”
(He was looking for works to enter the kingdom.) And Jesus (almost sarcastically) replies back, “There is only One who is GOOD. if you want to enter life keep the commandments...” and then He starts listing some commandments. Then Jesus then told the man to sell and his possessions and give to the poor to become PERFECT, and the man sadly walked away because he love his money. (Seems like no one can be Good like God is good.) THEN Jesus tells the parable of the Kingdom of Heaven and how it is easier for a camel to go through an eye of a needle than for someone who is rich to enter the kingdom of heaven. (instead for selling his possessions to the law to become perfect by the law. Because then you aren’t perfect in the Law’s standers) THEN his disciples clearly asked Him, “WHO THEN CAN BE SAVED?” (Because everyone knows they aren’t perfect!)

Why are Christians mad that we worship and OBEY God? We don't compromise what the Quran teaches for anyone, because Islam is first? Unlike the Christians that claim that they trust in Jesus(pbuh) yet do everything he told us not to do.
I was born in a muslim family. I am 15 and have been a Muslim my whole life but recently I started having doubts and I came across your channel. I can certainly say that there is something fishy but I am not fully convinced that Prophet Muhammad PBUH (being illiterate) managed to write the Quran on his own. I've never been very religious and I don't want to make a decision without doing my own research. Although some explanation would help a lot about Quran and it's origin.
I'll give you two approaches to find out just how bad he was:
1. Within the 'standard narrative'. Read the sira and see what he did to others. Before he started hearing voices in his head, he was an honest merchant who managed to marry the richest businesswoman in Mecca. After he started hearing voices he became more violent and angry towards others (including his own tribe), and eventually became a bloodthirsty warlord who robbed, tortured, slaughtered and assassinated. Every imaginable crime you can think of, he did. He was also a womaniser with special privileges to have more wives, female slaves, married a 6 yr old, and his own daughter-in-law. Which example do you think is better; the honest merchant or the bloodthirsty warlord and slave owner?
2. Outside the 'standard narrative'. Mecca was never an ancient city that prospered in the 7th century or earlier. Absolutely no evidence for this outside of your own texts written hundreds of years after the supposed events, and in cities a long way north from current day mecca. It lies in a desert, a long way from anywhere, and it's only natural water source is one, deep well with a pitiful (and seasonal) water supply. No city can exist without plentiful water - hence there was no city. Where is the archaeological evidence? Nothing. Where is it shown on a contemporary map from the 7th or earlier centuries? Nothing. Where are the descriptions from 7th century pilgrims and traders? Nothing. Dig in genuinely ancient cities like Jerusalem and you find lots of evidence. Dig in Mecca and you find sand. The cult was created by the abassids for political reasons. Mecca never existed in the 7th century. Muhammed is a myth.
@@furioushinzo1063 "really true" If mecca had been a genuinely ancient city, going back to the time of Abraham, it would be famous in contemporary histories, maps, biographies, etc. The Romans, Byzanties, Sassanids, Christians, Jews would all have described it. There is nothing. If mecca had been genuinely an ancient city where islam was born, then it would have been a capital city of the cult. It never was. If it were an ancient city then the ground would prove this in terms of artifacts, coins, old foundations, inscriptions, etc. Nothing.
But even if you ignored the complete lack of any evidence for their claim, you just have to look where this place is on google Earth to see it lies in a desert, a long way from anywhere, and has only a pitiful water source. No city can exist without water. Therefore, this claim is a fake.
That's because Mohammed (peace be upon him) did not write the Qur'an. It was revealed to him orally via Angel Jibreel/Gabriel (AS), and then the companians (God's mercy be on them) wrote it down/compiled it. Don't worry about the doubts; it happens to everyone. Do your research from all sides. Don't just take 1 narrative on this. There's a channel called dawahoverdunya debunking David's claims. You should check it out.

On the contrary: it is not the nice words that get judged - but the DEEDS (or crimes) that people do, "inspired" by those words. Never say, you were forced or ordered to do any atrocities - look into your soul and decide to get saved by doing the right thing (or by not doing wrong). The word of God is out there (in many different versions) but always echoing the same 10 commandments: LOVE for GOD and ALL of creation! (Fellow Humans included - do NOT kill!).

you don't know how hadiths work. A sahih chain means reliable people transmitted the hadith. But they can make mistake. We know this hadith is false when we find the hadith narrated by much more number of reliable people contradicting it. Just like scribes can make mistakes and we use textual criticism, narrators can make mistakes and we compare other narrations.

What I do often see is they get trapped in circular logic loops as they deny negative aspects about their holy book while accepting others as true. For instance: you cannot say the Quran is the word, is full of peace, and say Mohammed followed the teachings of peace all in the same sentence. Or the other way: If the Quran is the word of god, and is full of violence then Mohammed was a violent follower of Islam. And they can never seem to get around that bump.
