Can you see when a call is parked from this device? I need a cordless that from the device you can tell if a call or more are parked and toggle between or press a button to choose which one to pick up.

Does this unit actually include the base unit to allow it to be installed on a wired network? Nextiva Sales people are saying that I would have to purchase a $100 Nextiva X-650 base (supports up to 10 phones). Please advise.

If you get it directly from Nextiva YES, it should include the base unit. Sometimes they will call the base and the cordless a different code name, which we call a KIT meaning it has everything you need, versus just needing additional cordless handsets to pair with the same base; so just be sure but YES, typically a kit includes all you need to get it live - IE. cordless handset and base! It sounds like maybe they sell them separately, BUT i'm willing to bet if you add the 2 up together price wise, it cost around the same as a KIT typically would. Meaning usually a cordless IP phone is around $200-$250, so if the handset is say $125 and the base $100 that price sounds about right for a cordless IP phone "KIT". It is strange though if they sell it separate like that vs. in a kit for new customers; since the base is an "obvious requirement"
