    Did you know that Martin, when they released their tenor model, suggested in the marketing materials that it could be tuned as a ukulele, or 'like a guitar' (meaning DGBE, but of course the baritone didn't exist back then!). Of course, that would have been high D tuning. I have a tenor tuned high D DGBE, and if you think about it, there's nothing lower than there would be on a low G tenor! It's a shame it wasn't what you wanted or expected though.

      @@PhilDoleman initially I wondered if Martin baritones were just shorter, but turns out there were actual proper baritones ahah
