i appreciate your honesty with the fact that even though you live in an “idyllic” place, it’s still easy to get trapped in your own mind/world, and therefore forget the beauty of your surroundings. i also like how you mentioned that just because you’ve left home doesn’t mean that your issues go away. i think i really needed to hear that. ofc i know that’s true but i’ve felt stuck in my life for so long that i naturally tend to feel the strong urge to drop my life and go somewhere/anywhere thinking that will change my issues. and truth of the matter is that even though it may help temporarily, those issues/problems never truly leave you if left unresolved. me thinking more about these things makes life seems kinda cold/stark, but at the same time, i am becoming comforted by the fact bc it’s reminds me that there’s no place else i can be but where i am rn. so i should stop trying to run away…. WHOOP didn’t think i’d get so introspective tonight ahahah but anyways i enjoyed this video! i know you filmed this last year, but the end of spring sem is rolling around and this vid made me look forward to end (albeit it stressful), and think abt the relief and celebrating. thank you amber and i hope the end of your senior year is unfolding well ❤

Hey , even I am on my summer break and even though we're on break , I sometimes have moments where I get stressed because my brain tells me that I should be doing something all the time and be all productive and stuff , but I know that I should take this time to rest and I deserve to relax after giving stressful finals or else I am just gonna burnout, which is so not fun and your vlog helped me realise that and slow down so , thank you sm !!!💕

fake it till you make it has got to be one of the realest pieces of advice to exist 😭 and yea, i think i’d love to visit cali but not the LA area. i feel like so many people go there, like all of influencer/celeb culture is based there and it scares me💀 i live in the east, not by the water but i’m in the upper south, and i’ve always wanted to visit up north bc i hate hot weather, so it’s nice to know that i may get along with people there if their heads are where u say they are.

Girl as a Californian I am struggling everyday to make money to live where i grew up, so trust me many of us live in reality 🥲 in uni you’re probably surrounded by a lot of early 20 somethings from all around, still transitioning into adulthood and getting to try out their dreams for the first time. Plus youre in the entertainment industry so yeah a lot of people got their heads in the cloud, but I think for the better cos it’s so competitive and soul crushing haha. But anyway, I’m happy your school year is over! Enjoy the summer before your last year of uni 💖

2. Isn't there a way to do a part time internship so you don't have to choose either film or RUclips? It's obviously up to you, but it could be a great option for when you do not want to start at the bottom for your whole career, because you could still do RUclips more often that way!
