Broaddus good pick I like WR/QB Luke McCaffrey he was a team captain and played at Rice U just like Will McClay. Luke is 6'2 198 4.46 40 yard 36" VJ in his career had 1,732 rec yards 13 td and at QB had 927 rush yards 7 rush td 921 passing yards 5 pass td in 2023 tied with WR Rome Odunze with 24 contested catches each
Mike McCarthy didn’t have any say about Dak so why would the next coach have any say about Trey Lance?
Can we draft a new GM or owner please???😂
Go up and get Michael Penix. Bad injury history but he’s been healthy for the last two years and he has got an arm! As long as we fix our OL, he’ll be an opponent other teams will dread. If the guy had no history of injuries, he’d be either the #1 or #2 Pick of the Draft.
BPA every time bc when we draft for need we end up with last years draft which I will say still has verdict out on it
If there was ever a year to go BPA…..it’s in this draft! I think it’s the way to go to begin with but the way it looks, they are already rebuilding or getting ready to, so just take BPA.
If it sucks trade Lamb for draft capital
😅😅😅
what is exactly is powers johnson medical issue??
5:05 There was no need to trade for Aaron Rodgers. Dallas had two first round picks in the 2005 draft. Number 11 (DeMarcus Ware) and number 20 (Marcus Spears). Rodgers was drafted at pick 24. Spears was a good player but drafting Rodgers over Spears would have been two Hall of Fame pics. The talk was Dallas could not afford to draft Rodgers because of salary cap in rookie contracts at the time.
Plus, If the rocket Ishmael trade did not happen, Cowboys could have drafted Drew Brees in the 2001 draft.
Dallas seems to do better when they draft BPA. I know OL, RB, and LB are NEEDS but they should let those positions come to them organically
BPA
I think that was problem last year the coaches might of had more say than they should have. They also definitely drafted for need instead of BPA was real big mistake!!!!
Love the show!!!
There are really good big running backs and wide receivers in this class. 2 of our first 3 picks should be offensive weapons.
So you want a cart and a horse to pull the cart? The horse is OL and the cart is QB/RB/WR. I get the horse first.
What good coach would want this job next season if you can’t have some input in the draft process.
Draft Pratt in rd 2. Hes a top flight QB .
First 3 rounds need to be impactful starters.
I know everybody wants to pick Brooks, but we don’t need someone who can’t start next year. We need a starter.
BPA ALL DAY
How many of the potential HC available next year don't want anything to do with Dak? That's prob the reason he does't get extended. Maybe they'd rather have a HC than a QB
Shading for Shadeur? Planning for Manning? Making a play for Drake Maye? They better have a succession plan. I will be happy to see somebody else working on their game
Broaddus I disagree please stop comparing Flozell Adams to Tyler Guyton he is much more athletic than Flo who ran a 5.50 40 time at 6'7 335 Guyton 6'8 322 ran a 5.14 40 time. Flo fell to the 2nd round due to his athletic ability and being partially deaf in his right ear former Ravens Scout Daniel Jeremiah had Guyton at pick 20 to the Steelers in his recent mock draft
He's saying that's how they'll sell Guyton to Jerry.
Got it but the Cowboys had a formal combine meeting with Guyton and their OL coach Mike Solari was running the drills at his pro day so they are interested JC Latham is a better comp to Flozell Adams imo
Should have either signed or traded Dak by now. Now we either have to sign an extension or get nothing for him a year from now. Nice work Stephen. 💩
NC State LB is a pass for me,,,,Injuries does not have a big *ss built leaner than thicker, don't believe he can handle the power. Similar to VanderEsch
I would have no issue with Nix at 24. I think he is much better than McCarthy.
Best player available at any position of major need.. in the first three rounds..
Dang it Broadus don't a 1 technic you don't even know what defense Zimmer going to run
Someone said ... Get a new G.M. or a New owner.... FYI ... THE GM IS THE OWNER AND THE OWNER IS THE GM. !!!
we don't need QB, we have two dam good backups now, Rush and Tray let them complete for starting QB, We know Rush is a good backup now, if Tray can outplay Rush let him start and keep Ruch as a backup.
So man needs they can draft best available every pick 😆
With so many needs, trade back and add picks!
Drew Henson was hilarious!
Brandon Cooks a is a no 3 wr, a wr in the second or 3rd is fine.
Sit Dak on the bench with in a month he will tear up his contract.
Why would u draft a QB if you just traded your 4th round pick for a QB. Make it make sense…
Draft the best player. If a guy you like draft him.
we need a power running back !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Dak needs a good running game to be at his best. Go get the best or top 3 back in draft
He had one of the best in the league. Same result.
Jerry is way past his prime. He needs to walk away. But his ego can't let go.
Peyton Wilson bat outta hell!
Trade back get someone next year 1st rd pick. Trade up for shauder sanders
LOL! You watch too much ESPN.
If Jerry Jones hire a person that knows and master the numbers game. A lot of our problems will be over. The eagles have a master numbers man. We don't. That's why they always talking about the cat because they don't know what they are doing period he only got family members at the top jobs, and it's coming down and it's going to crash and burn. That's all I have to say that Cowboys at the top. Is the problem basically his son do not know what he's doing.
I protest by not watching. 😂
The needs are so many at this point I genuinely believe they can go BPA and still cover needs.
thats not a pic of Bobby Belt. Wrong avatar guys
You cant tell me that with all the holes this team has that the QB is not viable.
Stop building this defense for turnovers and build them to make offenses one dimensional. Stop waiting for Zeke and build the oline loke you did with Romo.
Build the team to win on the road in the East and all you need is a QB that wont lose the game
Last year's draft is going to hurr. Unless Overshown is Ray Lewis, last seasons draft is not going to help much. Mazi is a bust if he can't time the snap. The TE is solid but that's about it.
I don't see how Overshown fits in Zims scheme
Trade Dak to the Minnesota Vikings get those 2 first round picks with a 2nd or a 3rd and a forth round pick
You've got 10 slots to fill ... 11 if Gilmore leaves and you're talking BPA? That's Bobby thinking ... here's how Bobby's mind works. Last years 1st ,2nd, 3rd draft picks .. All injured.. unhealthy .. Mazi, Schoonmaker, Overshown ... Diggs coming back from ACL, Overshown ACL, John Stephens Jr. ACL ... Gallup n Steele did not recover well from ACL .. and Bobby says "Hey ! .. Lets draft the Texas RB with the ACL problem this year". .. Bobby's new name is going to be Jerry before too long.
I’m for drafting Brooks tbh - you are gonna need to draft one at 56 most likely and he’s the best one.
Or you can pray one of Brooks, Benson, Wright falls to the 3rd and if not you are likely screwed
John Stephens Jr. was Undrafted whats the big deal about his torn ACL ? he literally cost the Cowboys nothing and they will sign more Undrafted players again this year
@@Primetimes21 Stephens is on the Team.. and was one of the few newcomer/bright spots. Stephens is on Injured Reserve.. is at The Star.. and draws a base salalry. McCarthy said both Overshown and Stephens were Camp hopefuls.
@@ETRH6 There's better/healthier choices than Brooks. Isaiah Davis 1451 yds in 2022/ 8.2 yds carry. 1578 yds in 2023/8.7 yds carry. Ray Davis/Kentucky 2023 1129 yds/9.8 yds carry. Brooks averaged 6.1yds/carry in 2023.
@@OmahaSandMcCarthy said "They look great," "They're crushing it in the rehab I'm hopeful we can get them on the field sooner than later but I look for those guys to make an impact starting in training camp." Cowboys also have Peyton Hendershot, Princeton Fant and others at TE that position is fine imo they still have the draft, can sign 13 Undrafted players, and free agency if they want add more depth at TE
Draft Pennix or Bo Nix. Don’t go into next year without a QB
Jerry likes the underdog story he'll sign dak for another contract or at the entry lamps will take over when that one's done or Dak retires
jordan travis? what are we doing here. there's nothing impressive about languishing in cfb for SIX YEARS to finally look decent.
Yeah... Guys that start at the bottom and grind their way to the top of their field are weak and unimpressive
I'd much rather have a guy who doesn't grind and never shows improvement
🤦
@@aaronchapman3 languishing in CFB for 6 years is not “ grinding” and then finally beinr decent because of the Covid years.
Being an irrelevant scrub of a player your entire natural playing career until you’re suddenly older than 95% of the players isn’t a coincidence and only FSU fans get sensitive about this 6th year super senior
@@aaronchapman3 think about it, it took a pandemic and a type of virus the world hasn’t seen in 100+ years for this guy to even be in the conversation of making a roster.
Do you want me to pull up his #’s of a natural playing career? Do you want me to pull up and break down his tape of his first FIVE SEASONS and show how untalented of a quarterback he is? 6 years and the biggest down year in the history of CFB to look decent lmfaoooo
@@caesar.5252👈 Gets so triggered he has to respond twice and edit his blather. 🥴
I don’t need to see someone sitting on the chair talking
14 and 3 we got and we got a lot of players and a really good and you say they draft well we got two drafts sitting there not playing so we got to see what they got
