I wish it did not have the 'Honey' and was £20 cheaper. If it was, it would be an instant buy from me. I would like to compare those Humbrol products to Vallejo's , AK's, and Mig's
I want to weather my Gerry Anderson kits like a Pro. Derek Meddings and Brian Johnstone always took steps to dirty down and weather the Thunderbirds craft for that extra realistic counterbalance to the puppetry, basically!
Hiya MOS.. the thought occurs that you could use the powders dry /or/ as the basis for a wash.. very versatile, and more so than just a wash which can only be used one way.
That's great if you live in the UK. Shipping to Australia is a whopping, gut-wrenching £50! That means £90+, and in AU$ that's almost $180! I can buy three or four kits for that price! That's why I use eBay and my Australian online hobby shop.
Hi. Not bad for a starter kit. The Honey is a nice kit, ex Academy, with individual link tracks or rubber band (and these are quite good) and a basic interior. Good for encouraging a beginner to experiment and have a bit of fun. Cheers Matt 🦘🦘🦘
I love watching your stuff Mos, but sometimes it gets me so depressed with all the Airfix stuff you all can get for good prices in the UK, while here in the States we have to pay up to $50 just for shipping. The Hornby Hobbies USA store donest have any of the bundles y'all do across the pond.
I bought it. I received 10 tanks (plus the free 'plane kit). I 'phoned their customer services people who said that the "14 kits" was a mistake and I would only get 10. They tried offering me a discount. I then saw on the Airfix Forum that a guy had had a similar experience but they had sent him another 4 kits because it was their mistake. I then asked for and received another 4 kits. The original 10 tanks were: - The Stug IV, King Tiger, Tiger 1 "early version" (with full interior). Sturmpanzer IV Brummbar "mid version", Panzer IV Ausf. H "Mid version", A "Priest", A M36B1 GMC Tank Destroyer, a Cromwell mk VI, an M10 GMC Tank Destroyer and the T34-85. The four other kits I got were a Panzer III, a Jagdpanzer 38T "Hetzer", a Cromwell Mk IV and another M36B1 GMC Tank Destroyer......Phew! ....sorry to be so long-winded. Obviously the tank bundle is now "only" for the ten tanks but still great vfm. Hope this helps.
I don’t see much there of any use. I’ve seen chipping (the latest fad for wargaming vehicles) done with Vallejo paint and a bit of packing foam, sand weathering from thinned paint and similar brushes from the Works for less. Can’t fault the Honey, though!
You can purchase it here. prf.hn/l/jXBzdYz
A great saving on the individual item price, nice kit too.
I agree it would make a great pressy.
I look forward to a follow-up with a tutorial.
Nice selection to start you off. all we need now is a demo. Thank you Mos
Great video mos. Great little bundle.
I built the honey ….its a great tank …plenty of detail .
Excellent set, I also got the Pzl lim-6 for free because i spent over £40.00 What a deal
That's a great bundle. Great model too.

The Honey has been replaced by a Panzer IV Ausf. H "Mid version". Looks like even better vfm.

It can't be shipped to Australia anyway because it has paint in it.
Great point!
It's not lacquer paint. Non-flammable paints can be shipped internationally. If it weren't allowed Hornby wouldn't have given me a shipping quote.
@@raytheron I'm just going by the website. It has a "shipping address restrictions" note and Australia is on the list.
Looking closer, the chipping agent contains naptha so that's the flammable item that restricts the rest of it.
Great review mos, would love to see you demoing the products, with tips and advice.
soon... need to build the tank lol
Weathering powder pack looks interesting
It is! i will be trying them out
Excellent!! I’ll look forward to that
Interesting pack and a good review, humbrol weathering powders have been out for a while now but a good set to have

Have you seen the 1.35 military bundle, 14 kits for £149. I’d love to know what you get.
I have :)
Oh do tell😅
