I watched this show when around 8 years ago, when I was 4. I am 12 now and still remember watching this infront of our floor model television set, which was pretty ghetto compared to this day and era. I faintly remember a lone scene from the show, where hobo helps a kid whos leg is cut open or something, but I am not 100 percent sure.
I know this is a five year old comment but I'm currently 12 and watching this because my mom said that she used to watch it 40 years ago so far I've cried three times because of the theme song alone, this is going to be a tearful journey through episodes.
@@blezebeterson1242 I watched this when I was a young child as well, same as your mom. and the song always makes me cry too! great show, life was different then for sure. The littlest Hobo was my hero.
i remember watching this when i was probably 4-7. im now 16 and i remember every weekend we would sit in my parents bedroom and watch it on their tv. it's crazy how fast time flys
Paul Burke looks much older here than in Twelve O'clock High. The face could be makeup, but the lines on his neck show age... The best name yet for Hobo was Einstein!
I’m an American who never heard of this show until my Canadian girlfriend told me about it. I’ve watched several episodes and loved every minute of it.
It's been interesting watching these again. I remember this being shown on TV around 5pm, as the transitional program between the childrens'-entertainment slot and the normal/small-a "adult" programs, targeting it at those on the cusp of secondary school. In an episode like this it's so easy to see where the scriptwriters toned things down, to keep it on the right side of that tv demarcation. Like making the gangsters a bit slow to use their ammo, letting us think they were dumb enough to tell him how they planned to dispose of him, not using a padlocked ball-gag, not making the junior cop equally as bent as the lieutenant, and of course not extending the "chastised child" lines with an implication that Mr Big's "paternal" role was more Fritzl-esque.
Same my friend. It was on TV for me at 4:30pm Monday-Friday when it was on reruns right after random cartoon at 4pm and just before adults soap shows starting from 5pm
I've seen Andrew Prine in "V" and "V: The Final Battle" as the Visitor Security Officer named Steven; and three other television shows; such as "Star Trek: The Next Generation" (in the episode "Frame of Mind"; the fifth-last episode of the fifth season); and "The Bionic Woman" and "Weird Science". He played the role well. And two other actors from this episode appeared in that "Robocop" series. Small world.
Seeing as this was made in the 60s i would say londons long gone.I bought the 1st season on ebay for very cheap but only the sellers wife posted it the seller said he would of cancelled it because i was in ireland.its saved for a christmas present .i cant wait to watch it its a wonderful series.
The cop has Metropolitan Police on his shoulder flash and Highway Patrol on his cruiser door. Lol. Canadian shows never did portray police very well. Haha. Still a great show though!
Well trained shepherd! very fine animal!
+Ted Huddleston Absolutely! Excellent trainer and script!

Nobody cares
Don’t listen to Eric, you seem cool and your presence is appreciated!
Well then your mum sounds like a very sensible person in advising you of what decent television is.
You sure don't get shows lik this anymore!!
+David Henry No we don't! Thank God for RUclips even if the politics can be a pain sometimes!
