Your videos have really upped their game in the last year or so. I would say your videos are better than any other automotive RUclipsr in my opinion and unlike some you have fully stuck to it as well. 👍🏻
Huge difference 😎 Watch those brake lines though, when you are off roading the axle will be able to drop down away from the body more than it did before.
Well done mate! New extended brake lines, either castor corrected arms or bushes and new prop ujs as they will last 5 minutes being at that angle, also extended steering arm as ur steering wheel will be all over the place! Have fun buddy
You may need corrected radius arms with a 4” lift . Think it can cause the diff to rotate. This can effect the drive coming into the diff . You can tell if the spring looks curved.
That looked like a pig of a job!! Glad you found ways around it!! Looks epic!! Give us a shout if you fancy taking it on some lanes in wales!! 👌🏼👌🏼🏴👌🏼👌🏼
Just joined the channel, have been watching your past couple of disco videos. I own a disco TD5 all the way in australia. alot of my driving is rock crawling, I'm twin locked and have been considering spacers, your video has convinced me haha. If you ever make the trip to AUS happy to take you for a run. Also watch crawler79 from NZ who is doing something similar to your channel. Keep the vids coming Cheers Ed
You are definitely going to need extended brake lines and up graded propshaft because it will cause you issues when on full articulation, been there got the tee-shirt. Also caster correction arms or bushes a good idea. It takes time to build a decent rig but well worth the time and effort. Once you done these jobs just save for some diff lockers. 😜 the list is never ending. I spent thousands on my defender never regretted it..
You need to check those brake lines when it’s fully articulated, I personally would get some extended lines, last thing you want is to pop a line and have no brakes!!
Big up Lee it good to see you again brother. And mate your work u put in to your cars is next level mate 👍 and thank you for your videos and time putting it together like 👍 I love your chanel mate tbh I work on my ford fiesta mk6 and to me u show people anything is possible to fix or make even bater like mate your a legend to brother 👍 and thank you for all your tips and how to or not to fix parts mate .Good luck with the load round it a monster of 4x4 .like thanks again from me bro
good video, you're giving it a go and that's what matters the only thing I would say is just for safety sake and peace of mind get longer brake hoses/possibly longer drop links for the front too jgs4x4 sell all this stuff we use them a lot for our d2.
I've always worked on cars - do virtually anything, but last year I did a lot of work on a big MWB van and I really was over-faced by the scale. There's more space and things are bigger but so much more heavy duty. Like I'm not used to pumping a tyre to 70, was waiting for the big bang! - I can relate - not sure i'd get under a van with my axle stands
You need some prop shaft spacers. I’m surprised it hasn’t had any fitted from when it was lifted in the first place but doing that extra bit of lift it’ll be crying for them!
I know td5's dont flex very well with the watts linkage but you really do need extended brake lines, first time you flex that back end properly youll rip the hose out the caliper
You're gonna want longer shocks, longer brake lines, castor corrected front and rear arms, and maybe wide angle props pretty sharpish on that, otherwise you're gonna come into the world of trouble both on road and off-road
Lift blocks cause more problems than they’re worth. Others have pointed out the specifics. Your limitation in most conditions is tyre height not body height, and that can be cured with an angle grinder!
The brake lines will snap do not drive it like this get extended hoses cheap enough maye I've got same set up to go on my d2 but I need radius arms etc to go with hence I may leave it at 2inch and leave the blocks out ... I have seen this ignored and it causes the front springs and shocks to rub ... because they won't sit correct ... doesn't seam important but if you ignore these mods you will be the guy who always breaks down when on lanes etc .... Great work I'm just trying to advise and help ... we're in the UK are you ... do you have fb I can offer any advice and help needed I hope you can make longer videos soon also check under your carpets around seats and boot etc... they rot bad under carpet if not looked after .... they rot everywhere tbh
in addition to some remarks already posted in comments it is also necessary to take into account to add spacer to the cross member or delete it and add rear shocks relocators! ☝️
Looking good...not you the landy!!!🤣....definitely put longer brake lines on...the axle will articulate down as well as up!!...you.will rip them straight off!!😮
Yo bro I sent you some cheap deal on Facebook theirs few of these for sale for cheap but the mods are their so you could use them I also seen a guy wanting 600 for his wheels and tyres like your mates that big one
Also do away with them spring compressors ... just jack the body unbolt the shocks and drop the Axle down ... check your watts linkage too I think this lift effects it ....
Lee... please take that orange sticker off already lol 🤮 also give that front bar a quick lick off satin black paint. I know its an off roader but will make a massive difference 🫠
Your videos have really upped their game in the last year or so.

Wow Thankyou!
Apart from Mat Armstrong
Second this
You need to invest in a strong gazebo for the driveway mods! Because we live in the uk the rain is not going anywhere mate haha 😆
Huge difference 😎

Trail arms*
Loving the disco mate! Needs longer brake lines they will snap once it articulates
Yep 👍🏻
What a sausage, RESEARCH is key, can't wait to see the next video where you write it off into a wall because your brakes don't work
Well done lee keep it up glad to see your enjoying yourself again can't wait for more content
Can't you pull that little cover out on the caravan to keep dry? 🤣
I’ve never tried 😂
Was just gunna comment this 😅 cmon lee get the awning out las
Sort that CB Radio out it’s on Euro feq not UK!!! 😢
looking good mate. quality content and in this weather, mans on the grind. love it
That looked like a pig of a job!! Glad you found ways around it!! Looks epic!! Give us a shout if you fancy taking it on some lanes in wales!! 👌🏼👌🏼🏴👌🏼👌🏼
Is there enough play for the brake lines when the axles are twisting and moving? Looks good though man can’t wait to see it hit more green lanes!

Great video mate Back to the good old days working in the og driveway lad 👍
Well done bro 😎 hats off to you for getting it done ✅
Top job mate, you should srpay the wind screen washer bottle black, it stands out like dogs ball's.
You need to check those brake lines when it’s fully articulated, I personally would get some extended lines, last thing you want is to pop a line and have no brakes!!
Awesome stuff ladd! Loving what you're doing to the disco, she's coming along nicely. Looking forward to seeing her on the lanes!
Big up Lee it good to see you again brother. Been watching you for ages now keep up the hard work lee mate lannys a beast 💪 👏
Love your enthusiasm 💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼
Your talking so fast these days lee! 😂 how many monsters you on? 😂
Love the videos dude!
Lee get some longer brake lines i lifted mine to the same hight and first time flexing they snapped XD
Mateeeee. Wish i had thought of unbolting the prop 🤦♂️ have u still got the ace system?
bit random but could you use the camper awning as some sort of shelter just a thought to keep u dry 🙂 loving the videos 👌
Hi mate did it have lift springs and shock on it before this mod or just standard? Cheers
I love the way your land rover discovery stand
just had new springs on mine and rear lift blocks but i did change brake line as flexing im told is a serious issue, good vid pal
good video, you're giving it a go and that's what matters the only thing I would say is just for safety sake and peace of mind get longer brake hoses/possibly longer drop links for the front too jgs4x4 sell all this stuff we use them a lot for our d2.
Great video Lee Lockwood can't wait for the next videos
Been waiting for the next video. Didn't disappointed. Landy looks sick

Any update on the 190E mate? Not seen in a update in over a month, missing the content for it😅another 10/10 vid as per
You’ll need extended brake lines and kinked watts linkage and a front prop spacer
You need some prop shaft spacers. I’m surprised it hasn’t had any fitted from when it was lifted in the first place but doing that extra bit of lift it’ll be crying for them!
Awesome video again Lee, bigger tyres on it would look awesome, when’s the next off road video 👍👍
You want disco1 rear spring cups too get the most out of your lift & dislocation cones & some spring retainer plates for the base of spring 😊
Looks like them rear break lines will need doing hate for you to loose breaks if they fully extend
That look like a ball ache of a job to do Lee great video thou and fair play to you not phases you 👌🏻
Love watching your videos mate your the best love this content mate
Awsome I'm planning on buying a disco and looking at lifts kits so this will help me 👍
Can I do this using the factory springs and shocks?
I know td5's dont flex very well with the watts linkage but you really do need extended brake lines, first time you flex that back end properly youll rip the hose out the caliper
Jack up as high compressing the the spring, add spring compressors, lower back down to lowest setting job done.
You might need to extend the brake lines and ABS sensor connection, your notice more when the motor is off road ❤
15m20s - what every guy says when he has gained 2 inches!😂
Top work pal love it 😁😁
You're gonna want longer shocks, longer brake lines, castor corrected front and rear arms, and maybe wide angle props pretty sharpish on that, otherwise you're gonna come into the world of trouble both on road and off-road
Well done Lee, boss mod😁🤘🤟👌💪💪❤
Nice 👍🙂
Mannn I struggled doing this on a ramp 🤣all my front bolts were rounded
good job but i think you will need longer brake lines
Great content maté loving it 🔥🔥
As tight as guitar strings them brake lines watch you don't kill someone you'll be sick then😂✌️
Lift blocks cause more problems than they’re worth. Others have pointed out the specifics. Your limitation in most conditions is tyre height not body height, and that can be cured with an angle grinder!
What is the total lift now? Will you have to get trailing arms?
Did you sort the heater issue?
The brake lines will snap do not drive it like this get extended hoses cheap enough maye I've got same set up to go on my d2 but I need radius arms etc to go with hence I may leave it at 2inch and leave the blocks out ... Like the 4x4 content but where is the 190?
Get a farm jack and a high reaching jack, good time savers
next video- "i snapped the brake lines while flexing guys"
in addition to some remarks already posted in comments it is also necessary to take into account to add spacer to the cross member or delete it and add rear shocks relocators! ☝️
I'd say on full articulation you'll snap either the rear brake line or the ABS wire
You’ll have to watch the prop on that crossmember, you can either just cut a gap, remove it or get 50mm spacers for them
Adult supervision is needed here lmao
Those brake lines will suffer Lee when you get some serious articulation on the suspension.
Should do a body lift aswell
Are u gonna get a chassis lift kit too
Camber corrected radians arms and trailing arms will help no end
Put the spring compresor on before you jack it up and disconnect shock absorber but you will have to start extending stuff
Coulda put the clams on before lowering the jack down
Looking good...not you the landy!!!🤣....definitely put longer brake lines on...the axle will articulate down as well as up!!...you.will rip them straight off!!😮
Soon as u go off road bro n ur car flexis ur going to rip them brake lines clean off
🔥
Looking forward to a video in three weeks “went off roading and broke my brake lines” 😱🤷🏻♂️
used to hate jacking up landies
Awesome Content ever
You’ll need to extended them brake lines asap
Needle nose pliers ? Think there mole grips mate
Do you wanna go green laning? I wanna see your truck
using needle nose to tighten a bolt and you wonder why all the bolts are rounded off, haha
Yo bro I sent you some cheap deal on Facebook theirs few of these for sale for cheap but the mods are their so you could use them I also seen a guy wanting 600 for his wheels and tyres like your mates that big one
Need extended brake lines they will rip out once you start lifting wheels
Need to compress the shocks on the front
How about a gasebo to go on vet the car
2 inch body lift next
Also do away with them spring compressors ... just jack the body unbolt the shocks and drop the Axle down ... check your watts linkage too I think this lift effects it ....
And now try and do a serious evasive manoeuvre without scratching the roof. :)
Still need longer brake line
Lost your green jacket :( ahah
Should wrap it black
2" makes a huge difference 🤔 well that's what my ex told me anyhow 😆
100% need longer brake lines
What is wrong it’s been raining for like 2 weeks!!!!
Believe it or not, Lee it is winter😅
That sticker needs to come off pal looks hideous
first
Lee... please take that orange sticker off already lol 🤮 also give that front bar a quick lick off satin black paint. I know its an off roader but will make a massive difference 🫠
With the extra lift fit yourself some Double cardon wide angle prop shafts, also some extended brake hoses
making me want to get into this shit big time
