The fact that Kizaru clones approached Luffy while forming a line made me wonder if Kizaru's moves can be predicted since his movements are always linear.
It's kind of insane that years ago many people thought characters like Katakuri can give Admirals difficult fights. Just by using basic shonen manga logic, it would make no sense if the Admirals who we knew for sure even back then wouldn't see big action for years would somehow be only of that level when the main cast would only keep getting significantly stronger.
Katakuri would give an easy fight then? I dont know man. I would say most characters would be easy fights for the admirals but katakuri is not one of them. Not saying he would win but saying that indeed it would be difficult for admirals to win the fight. Or do you see katakuri as weak as pre timeskip worst generation captains?
People like to bring up that Marco stalled Kizaru in Marineford as evidence that Admirals == YC1, but they tend to forget that as soon as Marco was caught off guard and Kizaru landed a decent hit, he was out of comission for a MINUTE while Kizaru basically left Marineford unscathed. AND people tend to exaggerate what losing a match-up even means. Just because Admirals outclass YC1 doesn't mean its gonna be easy, even with my previous points Marco was still far from done fighting but it was clear in a battle of attrition Kizaru would be the victor.

Kizaru isn't going to mop them with relative ease. fights i'd say it would most resemble would be Blackbeard v. Law, and Shanks v. Kidd. I think Akainu or Kizaru beat any Yonko Commander (except Beckman) in 1-20 attacks.

It's obvious. When we saw bonney when we first were getting to Egghead Island, she was in a ball of water. Her powers could not work in water, therefor what she looked like in water is what she actually looks like.

"King of Hell" was what Zoro swore to become to make sure Luffy never lost again, I have a feeling it's just a similar nickname to "Dark King" Rayleigh. They both had to become the opposite to their captains outgoing and positive ways, and they both gave into darkness for their captains to become greater names and use their more positive side of conquerors haki to lead their crews. Emna, Zoros sword, is named for a Buddhist King of Hell as well and we know it can eat its users life force if they can't control it. Advanced Conquerors Haki I think has to do with embuing your weapons or body with that particular type of haki, which is similar to Armament Haki but has way more offensive potential as shown by the "smoke" or "lightning" coming off what they embue with their own Advanced Conquerors Haki. So when you strike it sends out stronger shockwave type attacks, using the air around you at your command if you're strong enough in it.(I hate to say "air bending") Side note, I feel like Zoro is just messing with Lucci right now. He just saw Lucci get whooped by his captain, I feel safe saying King was stronger than Lucci, but why wouldn't Zoro play fight just to see what Lucci will over confidently say to him. Lucci just flipped, it wouldn't be a bad idea for Zoro to interrogate Lucci to find out who else he was reporting to. Brago having nothing to do with the chapter but I know you talked about it in the past "Mihawk being scared of shanks" I think this video sums it up perfect "The Greatest Mihawk Theory Ever Made" I don't think it's they are scared to fight its just maybe an agreement was made off screen to form new rivals or since something happened its been an unspoken agreement. Could be a lot more finding out shanks is maybe a bad guy or so on. But I think its more about character growth now shanks = luffy fight over king / Mihawk = zoro fight to be the worlds strongest swordsmen. Kizaru is unaffected because my theory is this. At the beginning of the Arc Oda proved you can get over Devil Fruit abilities is through haki. Kizaru literally moves at light speed, think at light speed react at light speed. It’s not a stretch to think that upon realizing the effects Luffy’s fruit have on the environment is more than just the environment but those around it that as well he just defended against it and that’s why he is reacting normal. To me the Balance of Power was always: 3 Admirals > 1 Yonko 1 Yonko > 1 Admiral 7 Warlord Crews == 1 Yonko Crew Marine Fleet > 1 Yonko Fleet Bare in mind, the Three Great Powers effectively balance each other out. If 1 Admiral could solo a Yonko, it would make way little sense as to why the Marines haven't picked off the Yonko by now. Commtting all three Admirals to a single Yonko is a huge risk as it would leave them wide open to reprisals from other Yonko - but if taking out a Yonko only required committing a single Admiral, they should have done it by now (even more so once you factor in Garp and Sengoku still being effectively Admiral-tier, that's Five Admiral-Level fighters you could send after the four Emperors. Ignore powerscaling - a single Admiral being equal to a Yonko doesn't make sense from a Worldbuilding standpoint, as it contradicts the balance of the Three Great Powers
No, that's just arbitrary. The balance works fine even if an Admiral could defeat a Yonko. It's just the same as if an Admiral was dead even with one, or even slightly weaker. At the end of the day, to guarantee a win against a Yonko you'd need to send 2 Admirals which just isn't happening. The only way to take away that problem is if an Admiral is so much stronger than a Yonko that they could beat them with no sweat. That's obviously silly, which is why the idea that the Marines could just pick off the Yonko 1 by 1 doesn't work. The top tiers are simply all comparable. Depending on match ups and circumstances, a fight could go either way. That's how the balance is maintained, and that's why they all stay away from each other. It's simply not worth it.
Balance only comes into play if you ignore that there is a person on the World Throne with an agenda that is largely unknown. In a real world application, you could say America was balanced with Afghanistan, they fought a war for over a decade. But if you figure that America wasn't actually interested in levelling Afghanistan and that powerful people wanted the war to play out like a draw/balance then you start to see things differently.
I agree 1v1 Yonko wins. If Marineford was just Akainu vs WB, WB wins. Shanks vs an Admiral in a 1v1, shanks wins. If admirals were above Yonkos then Yonkos wouldn’t even exist in the first place is just common sense. With the exception of Captain Buggy that is.

Kizaru making light clones makes perfect sense because his fruit is basically the power of light, it has a lot to do with Quantum Physics and how electrons/Photons move, he's basically copying that same principle with his devil fruit, allowing others that see him to see the multiple probability of light passing thru certain objects, except he's doing it with optical illusions tricking his oppenent into seeing multiple versions of himself creating a Doppleganger effect or Mirage tricking his opponents eyes, what is really hard to do is to create the density of him being able to hit his opponent while doing so...that part must mean he's condensing electrons around his clones to interact with solid objects, there are only 4 states of matter: solid, liquid, gas and plasma, if he's using electrons and his devil fruit is basically Logia Type he's more Plasma based scientifically within One Piece, where most Logia Types are more like Smoker or somewhere in-between being sometimes liquid or mostly gas based.

Yes the admirals were underplayed but I’ve seen absolutely nothing to suggest they are stronger than the Yonko at best they are convincing me their equals. Lol
The biggest thing is what they are to begin with, and their sizes/responses to being attacked. Admirals have the Marines behind them, and thus act like a hornets nest if they need to swarm on something. You can line up all of them like at Ace's execution, or they can go respond to events like Sabaody because they're the closest to that particular island of the numerous they have to protect around the world. Yonko are likely equally as strong, but their strength is themselves personally with a crew behind them. They don't hold more than a main island and maybe a couple other spots they just like a lot, so they're more mobile but also their forces aren't spread out globally like the Marines. The Yonko are clearly stronger than the Warlords, but they're not Marines who try to protect things until they need a Buster Call to just wipe it out. I'd still guess the yonko are a little above, but we still need to see where the Admirals are after this arc because I don't feel like any of them have shown their full power post time skip.
Definitely not in the same way, or nearly as frequently with Gear 5. Before, it was just eyes stretching out like Enel or Perona. Now we have eyes popping out even up to several metres, like when Luffy saw Kizaru strangling Usopp. Or on characters that usually don't do it like Law & Kid.

Hey I'm new to one peice and I have a few questions. 1) do the people with the devil fruits that make them into something, like crocodile or smoker, do they control the thing they are made of, or do they only control themselves? Like does crocodile control all sand, or just the sand he makes from himself? 2) can those people create their element, like can crocodile create sand? 3) how is luffy not like those guys, his whole body is rubber just like their whole body is sand/smoke/fire whatever? I've said for a while Kizaru should be able to duplicate himself, he's a light light man and Nami duplicated herself on Enis Lobby but reflecting light, so it made since Kizaru could. I just didn't think it would be using his normal spam attack, or that they'd all be semi autonomous.(Be an interesting DF for Nami to get honestly, but I prefer not everyone get DF)

You make decent points; but her age DOES matter in the One Piece Story because of how that Ages certain Events & Character Interactions we have gotten inference from (God Valley/Xebec/etc.), as well as how things match up if she is a young Perfected Clone and has grown up to be Mentally 22; but her Perfected Clone body is only like 7 Real Time years old.. Because it was explained to Sanji by Yonji during WCI at the Secret Area of Germa 66 that their G66 Clones are technically 20-30 Years old in under 10 Years in both Mind & Body. All I’m saying is her age is a bigger point of contention that matters In-Universe ONLY IF she is actually a Clone (which means her OG Self Passed Away). If she isn’t a Clone, then the only relevance her True Age has, is how that connects to her father Kuma and what they experienced together or what she heard from him during earlier happenings that we don’t know about yet; or have been drip-fed through the Series; like Kuma’s more than likely slave childhood

I have a theory; what if Imu Sama is a copy version of Nika the Sun God. I mean, afterall Imu ate the flames similar to how luffy the original Sun God is irresistible to fire. I mean, this could also explain why Nika also has the big straw hat as she probably wants to be the only next joyboy. After all, Imu Sama was also able to shape shift, similar to how luffy can change into any shapes he wants. It's a crazy theory but not impossible as well, since we all know how Oda likes to surprise us all with things that are obviously right in front of us 🤔
Loose thinking not very sound. A more sound but unlikely theory is given parallels in one piece thematically, imu may have something like the Moon god fruit (parallel of sun and moon) dawn and dusk. Or some people suggested the world serpent fruit. It'll be a thematic parallel between luffys sun god fruit. When the 2 meet, an eclipse will occur :)
Bonney is probably an adult. In this very chapter, VegaPunk refers to Franky, a 36 year old full grown adult male, 12 years Bonneys senior, as a "young lad." It's probably just how VegaPunk talks about people who are younger than him.
I think that the people reacting to luffy will depend on the state of mind and not so much on the strength of the character. It may even be about how liberated the soul is. Maybe kaido was resonating with joy boy but kizaru is not there yet?
Don't be scared broski...I'll say it for you, MOST of Gear 5 fights have been whack. The goofy is overdone and you can't take any fight seriously. We dont even know when Luffy is actually hurt and when he's just having some internal laughing overdose. Also, it's changed Luffy's character with no explanation yet. I hope Luffy is just not "in control" because this is so far not at all comparable to Goku going SSJ. Really disappointed with almost everything animated in Gear 5. I love the concept of Haki basically armament is when you feel more sturdy after preparing yourself to hit something or get hit Observation haki is when you're trying to anticipate through your senses and thinking and conqueror's haki is like someone's willpower and charisma they are kings as they attract people by their personality and inspire a lot of respect a quality not everyone got I think Oda is just taking those to higher level through his haki system

It's kind of insane that years ago many people thought characters like Katakuri can give Admirals difficult fights. Just by using basic shonen manga logic, it would make no sense if the Admirals who we knew for sure even back then wouldn't see big action for years would somehow be only of that level when the main cast would only keep getting significantly stronger.

People like to bring up that Marco stalled Kizaru in Marineford as evidence that Admirals == YC1, but they tend to forget that as soon as Marco was caught off guard and Kizaru landed a decent hit, he was out of comission for a MINUTE while Kizaru basically left Marineford unscathed.
AND people tend to exaggerate what losing a match-up even means. Just because Admirals outclass YC1 doesn't mean its gonna be easy, even with my previous points Marco was still far from done fighting but it was clear in a battle of attrition Kizaru would be the victor.

Luffy used Gear 4 but got dusted, then had to use a stronger form aka Gear 5 and is taking damage, and got outsmarted twice. Kizaru on the other hand is ignoring Luffy, hasn't taken any damage and hasn't used his df awakening. You can't say Luffy is playing around when he's already used Gear 5. You're not being objective

It's obvious. When we saw bonney when we first were getting to Egghead Island, she was in a ball of water. Her powers could not work in water, therefor what she looked like in water is what she actually looks like.

"King of Hell" was what Zoro swore to become to make sure Luffy never lost again, I have a feeling it's just a similar nickname to "Dark King" Rayleigh. They both had to become the opposite to their captains outgoing and positive ways, and they both gave into darkness for their captains to become greater names and use their more positive side of conquerors haki to lead their crews. Emna, Zoros sword, is named for a Buddhist King of Hell as well and we know it can eat its users life force if they can't control it.
Advanced Conquerors Haki I think has to do with embuing your weapons or body with that particular type of haki, which is similar to Armament Haki but has way more offensive potential as shown by the "smoke" or "lightning" coming off what they embue with their own Advanced Conquerors Haki. So when you strike it sends out stronger shockwave type attacks, using the air around you at your command if you're strong enough in it.(I hate to say "air bending")
Side note, I feel like Zoro is just messing with Lucci right now. He just saw Lucci get whooped by his captain, I feel safe saying King was stronger than Lucci, but why wouldn't Zoro play fight just to see what Lucci will over confidently say to him. Brago having nothing to do with the chapter but I know you talked about it in the past "Mihawk being scared of shanks" I think this video sums it up perfect "The Greatest Mihawk Theory Ever Made" I don't think it's they are scared to fight its just maybe an agreement was made off screen to form new rivals or since something happened its been an unspoken agreement. Kizaru is unaffected because my theory is this. At the beginning of the Arc Oda proved you can get over Devil Fruit abilities is through haki. Kizaru literally moves at light speed, think at light speed react at light speed. It’s not a stretch to think that upon realizing the effects Luffy’s fruit have on the environment is more than just the environment but those around it that as well he just defended against it and that’s why he is reacting normal. Dude already defending himself from it.
Also, i vote that we change the term "Advanced Conquerors Haki" to "Conquerors Infusion" or CI or "Infusion" for short. Cause that's what it is. You're infusing Conquerors Haki into one's attacks. 3 Admirals > 1 Yonko
1 Yonko > 1 Admiral
7 Warlord Crews == 1 Yonko Crew
Marine Fleet > 1 Yonko Fleet
Bare in mind, the Three Great Powers effectively balance each other out. If 1 Admiral could solo a Yonko, it would make way little sense as to why the Marines haven't picked off the Yonko by now. Commtting all three Admirals to a single Yonko is a huge risk as it would leave them wide open to reprisals from other Yonko - but if taking out a Yonko only required committing a single Admiral, they should have done it by now (even more so once you factor in Garp and Sengoku still being effectively Admiral-tier, that's Five Admiral-Level fighters you could send after the four Emperors.
Ignore powerscaling - a single Admiral being equal to a Yonko doesn't make sense from a Worldbuilding standpoint, as it contradicts the balance of the Three Great Powers
No, that's just arbitrary. The balance works fine even if an Admiral could defeat a Yonko. It's just the same as if an Admiral was dead even with one, or even slightly weaker.
At the end of the day, to guarantee a win against a Yonko you'd need to send 2 Admirals which just isn't happening.
The only way to take away that problem is if an Admiral is so much stronger than a Yonko that they could beat them with no sweat. That's obviously silly, which is why the idea that the Marines could just pick off the Yonko 1 by 1 doesn't work.
The top tiers are simply all comparable. Depending on match ups and circumstances, a fight could go either way. That's how the balance is maintained, and that's why they all stay away from each other. It's simply not worth it.
Balance only comes into play if you ignore that there is a person on the World Throne with an agenda that is largely unknown. In a real world application, you could say America was balanced with Afghanistan, they fought a war for over a decade. But if you figure that America wasn't actually interested in levelling Afghanistan and that powerful people wanted the war to play out like a draw/balance then you start to see things differently.

Kizaru making light clones makes perfect sense because his fruit is basically the power of light, it has a lot to do with Quantum Physics and how electrons/Photons move, he's basically copying that same principle with his devil fruit, allowing others that see him to see the multiple probability of light passing thru certain objects, except he's doing it with optical illusions tricking his oppenent into seeing multiple versions of himself creating a Doppleganger effect or Mirage tricking his opponents eyes, what is really hard to do is to create the density of him being able to hit his opponent while doing so...that part must mean he's condensing electrons around his clones to interact with solid objects, there are only 4 states of matter: solid, liquid, gas and plasma, if he's using electrons and his devil fruit is basically Logia Type he's more Plasma based scientifically within One Piece, where most Logia Types are more like Smoker or somewhere in-between being sometimes liquid or mostly gas based.
I think you've deeped it and perhaps projected this world onto one piece. Why wouldn't it be the case that he merely created light as a substance and formed clones from that

What luffy was using before was just basic armament haki.the difference is instead this time luffy is coating his attacks with conquerers haki and an aurther can come up with any power system they want I can create a powrsystem where taking a sht makes a character as strong as goku
@giwrgospetrou1159idiot, go and watch/read it again. Conq. coating is what causes the skies to split, when two users using it, clash. That is why the attacks are stronger.

The biggest thing is what they are to begin with, and their sizes/responses to being attacked.
Admirals have the Marines behind them, and thus act like a hornets nest if they need to swarm on something. You can line up all of them like at Ace's execution, or they can go respond to events like Sabaody because they're the closest to that particular island of the numerous they have to protect around the world.
Yonko are likely equally as strong, but their strength is themselves personally with a crew behind them. They don't hold more than a main island and maybe a couple other spots they just like a lot, so they're more mobile but also their forces aren't spread out globally like the Marines. The Yonko are clearly stronger than the Warlords, but they're not Marines who try to protect things until they need a Buster Call to just wipe it out.
I'd still guess the yonko are a little above, but we still need to see where the Admirals are after this arc because I don't feel like any of them have shown their full power post time skip.

I've said for a while Kizaru should be able to duplicate himself, he's a light light man and Nami duplicated herself on Enis Lobby but reflecting light, so it made since Kizaru could. I just didn't think it would be using his normal spam attack, or that they'd all be semi autonomous.(Be an interesting DF for Nami to get honestly, but I prefer not everyone get DF)

You make decent points; but her age DOES matter in the One Piece Story because of how that Ages certain Events & Character Interactions we have gotten inference from (God Valley/Xebec/etc.), as well as how things match up if she is a young Perfected Clone and has grown up to be Mentally 22; but her Perfected Clone body is only like 7 Real Time years old..
Because it was explained to Sanji by Yonji during WCI at the Secret Area of Germa 66 that their G66 Clones are technically 20-30 Years old in under 10 Years in both Mind & Body.
All I’m saying is her age is a bigger point of contention that matters In-Universe ONLY IF she is actually a Clone (which means her OG Self Passed Away).
If she isn’t a Clone, then the only relevance her True Age has, is how that connects to her father Kuma and what they experienced together or what she heard from him during earlier happenings that we don’t know about yet; or have been drip-fed through the Series; like Kuma’s more than likely slave childhood

If I saw what you said as what the age debate is about I wouldn't say anything. However they _don't_ say that so I'm left to think thirst is why people want to know Bonnie's age, given what we've seen of her.

I have a theory; what if Imu Sama is a copy version of Nika the Sun God. I mean, afterall Imu ate the flames similar to how luffy the original Sun God is irresistible to fire. I mean, this could also explain why Nika also has the big straw hat as she probably wants to be the only next joyboy. After all, Imu Sama was also able to shape shift, similar to how luffy can change into any shapes he wants. It's a crazy theory but not impossible as well, since we all know how Oda likes to surprise us all with things that are obviously right in front of us 🤔
Loose thinking not very sound. A more sound but unlikely theory is given parallels in one piece thematically, imu may have something like the Moon god fruit (parallel of sun and moon) dawn and dusk. Or some people suggested the world serpent fruit. It'll be a thematic parallel between luffys sun god fruit. When the 2 meet, an eclipse will occur :)
Bonney is probably an adult. In this very chapter, VegaPunk refers to Franky, a 36 year old full grown adult male, 12 years Bonneys senior, as a "young lad." It's probably just how VegaPunk talks about people who are younger than him.

Don't be scared broski...I'll say it for you, MOST of Gear 5 fights have been whack. The goofy is overdone and you can't take any fight seriously. We dont even know when Luffy is actually hurt and when he's just having some internal laughing overdose. Also, it's changed Luffy's character with no explanation yet. I hope Luffy is just not "in control" because this is so far not at all comparable to Goku going SSJ. Really disappointed with almost everything animated in Gear 5. We get these brief moments of great animations, and then 80% silliness.
