Hello Sir, I'm Tanish. I’m in Class 12 and I’ve decided to become a Graphic Designer. But I’m confused about what to do after 12th. Should I pursue a B.Des or a diploma, because many people say that there are scams in designing colleges and they don’t teach everything properly. That’s why I’m very confused because I know I need to have a degree for graduation. Another problem is that I haven’t found my perfect niche yet. I enjoy doing all kinds of design work, whether it’s logos, posters, or packaging. I’ve asked a lot of people for advice, and they all say it’s important to have a niche. They suggest trying different types of design, which I have already done, but I still haven’t figured it out. What should I do?
Dont worry about niche yet. you have all the time to figure it out. as you are still in 12th, continue exploring and trying out all the design forms/types as much as you can. learn as much as you can on everything. there is not wrong in doing that. Many designers do most kind of work. it's just that they master one thing yet do all things. most people try ti figure out their niche main to focus on particular group of clients just to reduce competition from other freelancers/agencies. rather than competing with 100 if you have a niche you can compete with 10 for example.
@@tanishmunot1987 sorry! I dont have much idea regarding that. I myself from Btech IT background, worked in IT industry for 5 years and found interest in designing as well as I was working for startups when them made me to switch completely into designing as my career. From there I learned as much as I can related to designing and worked in several design fields as required for the startups. I believe if you are a self learned, you can learn anything these days with help of RUclips and studying books. Reading books helps you a lot on basic foundation and more advanced concepts. Thats what I learned. That said having a teacher makes all the above easier and faster.
Videos topic suggestion:- Start a series about package design. Teach everything like what is dieline how to create it. How to understand this is dieline. Everything
Hey anik, it would be great if you made a video on laptops for graphic designing under every budget. I watched the old one but a new one would help more.
I just hv one question, can we use pirated illustrator to create logos for clients, like as in starting we don't have that high amount to pay to Adobe, so I was thinking of this, it will good to use pirated software for right now?
The thumbnail is just wow❤
