Very helpful video! I've always said that Social workers need counselling skills and knowledge to really make a long-term positive difference to a family. I agree, theories are there more or less as a guide of what could 'potentially' be happening but not always the case as most of them are ancient history and were not tried and tested with all types of families. Things are very different now.
