I feel the same... let that fire come upon me again and again and again till my old days until my last breath of my life... after the touch of HolySpirit my life changed.. I was sitting quietly thinking. The song came on. My heart completely undone. All the pain and heartache all came out. I’m separated from my wife 8 months now. The tears flowing like a river. All I could was cry and raise my hand and say help me Lord. This is so much to bear.

Hey Laura, this is a great statement and it hints at a mystery in scripture and with God. He never leaves or forsakes us, as David said, "Though I make my bed in sheol, there you are with me." Yet, He says, "Draw nigh to me and I will draw nigh to you." And to Moses He said, "Go up to a land flowing with milk and honey; for I will not go up in your midst." Ex. 33:3 If God is everywhere, how can He not go with Israel? Yet, He fills the entire world. These seem contradictory but I don't think they are. The words for presence in the OT and NT mean "face." It's relational, not based on proximity. In scripture, the nearness or distance of God always relates to relationship and not actual feet and inches. Another great scripture is 2 Chron. 7:1. "Now when Solomon had finished praying, fire came down from heaven and consumed the burnt offering and the sacrifices, and the glory of the Lord filled the house." The word filled here means: "To take a container that was empty and fill it to capacity." It begs the question: didn't the Lord's glory already fill the house, since He's ever-present? Some more great scriptures: "Cast me not away from thy presence; and take not thy holy spirit from me." Ps 51:11 "Surely the righteous shall give thanks unto thy name: the upright shall dwell - in thy presence." Ps. 140:13 Therefore, if you're not righteous and give thanks, you may not dwell in His presence. Again, these hint at things beyond our natural comprehension. I hope this doesn't seem argumentative. Its really easy. Just humble yourself get alone somewhere or with a pastor or Christian you know and ask them for help. If you are alone then bow your head and say Lord Jesus i ask you to forgive me of my sins in the past. Sins that i have sinned against others and you Lord. I believe that Jesus died on the cross and rose again three days later for my sins. I ask you to be my Lord and savior and come into my heart now. Say this with all your heart. You have to mean it. And then find you people who will help you in the faith to understand what it means to be a Christian and how to read your bible. I hope this helps. God loves you, always remember that!!!

Hey Laura, this is a great statement and it hints at a mystery in scripture and with God. He never leaves or forsakes us, as David said, "Though I make my bed in sheol, there you are with me." Yet, He says, "Draw nigh to me and I will draw nigh to you." And to Moses He said, "Go up to a land flowing with milk and honey; for I will not go up in your midst." Ex. 33:3 If God is everywhere, how can He not go with Israel? Yet, He fills the entire world. These seem contradictory but I don't think they are.
The words for presence in the OT and NT mean "face." It's relational, not based on proximity. In scripture, the nearness or distance of God always relates to relationship and not actual feet and inches.
Another great scripture is 2 Chron. 7:1. "Now when Solomon had finished praying, fire came down from heaven and consumed the burnt offering and the sacrifices, and the glory of the Lord filled the house." The word filled here means: "To take a container that was empty and fill it to capacity." It begs the question: didn't the Lord's glory already fill the house, since He's ever-present?
Some more great scriptures: "Cast me not away from thy presence; and take not thy holy spirit from me." Ps 51:11
"Surely the righteous shall give thanks unto thy name: the upright shall dwell - in thy presence." Ps. 140:13 Therefore, if you're not righteous and give thanks, you may not dwell in His presence.
Again, these hint at things beyond our natural comprehension. I hope this doesn't seem argumentative. I'm hoping to point to the unfathomable depths of the Lord. It is both scriptural to say He'll never leave me and to ask His presence and glory to come. Blessings ~ Jackie

Its really easy. Just humble yourself get alone somewhere or with a pastor or Christian you know and ask them for help. If you are alone then bow your head and say Lord Jesus i ask you to forgive me of my sins in the past. Sins that i have sinned against others and you Lord. I believe that Jesus died on the cross and rose again three days later for my sins. I ask you to be my Lord and savior and come into my heart now.
Say this with all your heart. You have to mean it. And then find you people who will help you in the faith to understand what it means to be a Christian and how to read your bible. I hope this helps. God loves you, always remember that!!!

It’s free on the Bible Gateway app. And definitely find a local church of believers who can help encourage you in the Lord.

While being at the feet of Jesus, I can hear His Voice "Rise up my love, my fair one, and come away!". There is this tension between very high and very deep at the same time. This deep longing of a lovesick bride for her Beloved to finally and fully come to her, sadness and mourning, at the same time comfort, rest and peace... it is hopeless, I don't have the right words, these are just some personal impressions.
Anyway, thank you dear friends so very much for offering us your gifts (wonderful voices full of harmony), the Lord has put inside of you, for being still enough to let Him blow upon you.- And in His temple everyone says "Glory!" (Psalm 29,9). This your song has great and gentle power to draw us to worship- let us be still before Him, where only "Glory to You, Jesus!" is allowed to come out of our hearts.
