Love love love these tutorials Camilla!✨ Those washes are super gorgeous! ✨✨I'm a bit too structured to go in with washes first but definitely need to learn how to apply them more loosely while still keeping them interesting with difference in values...these daffodils are stunning! Will definitely keep trying both ways, your guidance is brilliant! Thank you!💛
Oh I am so glad you enjoy the tutorials. I am really enjoying making them too. I think its so fun to get into depth with this incredible style. Do try both and make sure to share so I can see it :D
Thank you for showing how certain parts of the flower stands out more with fine liner and direction lines. It makes a big difference to the painting if you like the defining black lines 😊
Gorgeous! I 've been playing with line and wash flowers for a while but am still not really happy with the results. Anyway, I love your videos and just ordered your book. Thank you for being a source of inspiration.
Aaah it does take a little practice to get there. But remember it's not about the result but more about just enjoying the proces (cheasy but true 😅) then the results will come before you know it :)
Camilla, just discovered your channel a couple of days ago and I love it! You are a joy to watch and your art is so beautiful. I've been in a bit of a painting slump but you have reinvigorated me. Thank you!

I learned so much in this video. The fine liner really made the daffodil pop.
Daffodils are my favourite. Love this. Thank you for explaining so well❤️🦋
You are so welcome! I adore daffodils too! The colors just somehow stands out in the early spring 😊
Beautiful!
This has been so helpful to me in helping me to understand why my line & wash paintings don't look great. Thank you!
Oh I am so glad to hear that! Sometimes its very little that we need to adjust to create magic 😍
Lovely 👌🏼👌🏼
I love your videos. I found them after I bought your book which is also great. They make a good combination.

Wow that's a really neat trick!
Haha not a trick, just a strategic way of using fineliners :D

Wow, where do you live that a daffodil is a purchased flower? Here they grow wild everywhere.
I live in Denmark. DAffodils are growing in the gardens here, but not yet :)
