  • Romblon Island, the smallest of the three of major islands of the province, is the center of the province of Romblon.
This is Marble Capital of the Philippines, and we were privileged to see how marbles are processed, then sculptured to beautiful marble products from tables to lamps to mortars and pestles.
We were also lucky to join the province as it celebrates its Foundation and Liberation Days, and to witness how the people pride themselves with their independence.
We also get the chance to go on tour of the island's heritage attractions such as its old Spanish Fort of San Andres, its historic San Jose church, its century-old Tribunal, water fountain and colonial bridges. We also got to see some of its best-preserved heritage houses, and try some of its local delicacies.
