I don't get why people are kinda hating on this live show. I saw this live show last year in Disneyland with my sister and it was amazing (went twice, because we enjoyed it so much)! I love the interaction between Tony and Peter as a irondad spiderson fan. Especially the special effects were good. So what if it's halve French halve English, at least that way my sister and I could follow most the show, because we don't have an own Disneyland in our country (Netherlands) like most country's don't have one. If it was just French, I wouldn't be able to follow it at all. Great job Disney :). Just saying, if you don't like it, then don't watch it, instead of copying and writing hate comments. Like any of you could do it better. Sorry if my English is bad. Like I sad, English is not my native language

Even in the UN besides the Postal Union which uses French as its main language nearly all other departments are English alongside French and sometimes German. In USA....... Name a public school that doesnt teach English. A common municipal court that doesnt speak primarily in English unless specialized for some reason to speak another language. Name me a politician that holds politcs in a language other than English. Name me a police department, government agency, EMS or any other governmental body that speaks anything other than English unless being specifically designed not to for a specific reason........ We were English colonies that revolted dude.
If you have worked on stage, then you can see, they worked hard to put quite a lot of very tricky sequences into this. Some worked well, others need improvement, but I expect that kids would find it memorable, and enjoyable. I remember going to see a wild west stage show, at Marine World Africa U.S.A., as a kid, and Darth Vader showed up, and shot, or deflected a laser blast into a spittoon. That was impressive for 1983-85. If you want to watch the films for those things that can be achieved through CGI, go ahead, but live stage performance is a different beast. It makes me happy, knowing that these performers are bringing what they can to this, and are super awesome, in their own way. My grade for this is 7/10. Josh Brolin, and Robert Downey, Jr. voices bumped it up slightly. I'm guessing this play is not multiple tens of millions of $$$ to produce, so with this in mind, it is a good show.

I agree that having two languages is kinda weird. Having captions would work or they could do what movie theater do with they release an anime movie. And just have certain time be French like for let say you go at 5:00 pm you get all French and then if you at 8:00 pm it’s all English or whatever they want.
They look great, good costuming and cast, and there are some good gymnasts among them heightening the action, as well as nice lighting and special effects, but I feel like they could have done better, sharper, more well executed fight choreography, a better story line, less dilly dallying around.

A lot of this is really cringey. I've installed and operated flying effects exactly like the ones used here, and I have to say that the Iron Man flying effects here were REALLY poorly executed. As for the rest of it, lots of stuff that could have been better. Fight choreo for instance was good in some places, but lots of badly designed or executed elements.
Eric Corona I mean, it's POSSIBLE to do super heroes live, but the line between "good" and "cringe" is much slimmer than for most concepts. Part of the problem with this particular rendition is that they wanted it to be a fun and family friendly show...but with epic fight sequences. Fight sequences like this really only work on stage if it looks real, like the characters are legitimately trying to kill each other. But you can't do that if you want it to be fun and family friendly, so the fighting just ends up looking super cringey. It ends up looking like the old Adam West Batman show. That's probably the biggest inherent problem with doing super heroes live. It would work better if they cut the fighting and the story and did something more like Jedi Training Academy. Not EXACTLY like that of course, but something where the Avengers are looking for new recruits maybe. Anything without the villains and the fight sequences. As for the flying effects and whatnot, those could actually work if done well, but here they were done very poorly.
Indiana Jones shoe going on for years rock. Remember, cultural style aslo puts a touch on art representation. The french are known to be over dramatic and act like they suddenly get strokes in thier shows and movies.
