If you use Hallide or focos you can bypass the no human portrait mode thing for the XR.... you have to realize that it’s entirely software when it comes to that.. I can take amazing photos of objects in portrait mode using this said apps

Incorrect. As you can see when it straightened out, the wider image is outside the crop. That is the wiggle room you have to adjust the photo slightly without losing quality of the main image.

The grainy photos camera quality was so bad on the iPhone 11, I returned it the next day, very disappointed with Apple, I like their iPads and Mac but their phones are not worth the high price, and the cameras are worth nothing from my experience. My wife has the iPhone 6 and the camera was never that great, but still better than the iPhone 11. Did I get a defective product or are others having the same issues?
Mine was like that on my XR I turned in. The 7 plus camera was so much better. It was so buggy on both the default camera app and even worse on Snapchat

Compared to Night Mode, photos taken with the flash look pretty bad, and no, Night Mode does not use the flash.
I just took a picture in my windowless powder room, no light at all. It looks great. It flashed very brightly. I have iPhone 11.
